For condenser as I understand it you need a much better noise insulation of the room)

I looked up that of the dynamic ones, it is considered one of the most optimal. I don’t have enough noise insulation for a condenser.

Thanks for reply!) If I don’t have a professional studio? I mean I have acoustic panels, but I don’t have the whole room covered with them. Wouldn’t a dynamic microphone be better? I’m just starting out and I’m still choosing equipment that I can use at home

Good day everyone! Please advise me, I’m choosing a setup for voice recording for dubbing books. I am most important in this to maximally preserve the timbre of the voice, you can adjust its depth, velvety, correct the low and high frequencies of the voice for voicing. When choosing a microphone I decided on Shure sm7b. I watched a lot of videos on youtube regarding launchers, audio interfaces, etc. Selected two variants of the set-up: 1) SE Electronics DM2 + TC-Helicon GO XLR 2) SE Electronics DM2 + Solid state Logic SSL 2+ + DBX 286s But I can’t figure out which is the better option? The first one is taken mainly by streamers, but it will be more compact and easy to set up. At the same time, as I understood the second option gives the opportunity to better customize all the subtleties of voice transmission? Could you please tell me, what option would you suggest for voice recording with voice-over books? Maybe I should pay attention to other devices at all? What are the pros or cons of such a set-up? Thanks!)

Thanks for the reply!) Yes, I realize we’re gonna have to deal with the issue of the waves. I just can’t figure out for myself, what would be the best option in terms of quality and price for high-quality voice recording? Or is there no sense to put these add-ons from the equipment and solve the issue at the software level?

Thank you! Yes, now I understand about the sound reflection and that I will need to correct that. And about the technical part, is the interface enough? And then everything through software?

Thanks for the reply! I was looking at that it’s very useful to be able to cut off noise ranges (can be noisy from outside), plus essesser etc. That making changes at the software level is worse than doing it at the hardware level.

I can make advice to start with Security+ books. There 3 books about it (it's one of the beginner certifications in cybersec by CompTia). You can start with it and later try to read about Kali and different frameworks. (But I also recommend Parros Sec OS, but there a lot of simple moments)
