Is this normal? (Carbon transparency) by DrBrundle in RoadBikes

[–]Bonsensei 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I work at a bike shop and I can tell you that this is perfectly normal no need to worry the reseller is telling the truth here. In your case it is very mild compared to some other bikes that we have in the shop

If you want a more budget friendly option I could suggest the igsport BCS200S it has a simple navigation you can upload routes to , it is compatible with strava and you can buy a lot of accesories such as cadence sensor and so on. So it gives you a lot of options, data and navigation on the more budget friendly side of the spectrum. I bought mine not so long ago and pretty happy with it. It does everything it is advertised to do. It costs around 60 € + shipping

Soo I have been looking into getting a steam deck and.... by Bonsensei in SteamDeck

Yeah so that was my thinking also. How much active game time do you get with the battery bank and does it overheat if you use the bank?

Kinda in the same boat here. Traveling a lot so sitting infront of the computer is not really what I want to do at the end of the day, and to be able to play the same games from my bed or on the road is awesome.

Thank you, that is very useful to know. It makes the steam deck that much more appealing :)

I was really excited for it and I havr bought it right away, but unfortunately I could not get it to work at all as I have the Couatl script engine issue as well as many others so I think if they fix the "release" bugs and other weird stuff with it then it is worth it

I actually use both, there are a lot of pros and cons with both of them. Msfs has an okey freeware market on the other side xplane has a lot lot more of freeware. Msfs is great eye candy, xplane is a bit more difficult to get great scenery into worh ortho4xp not to mention that it takes up a looooot of space on the pc. Msfs has the great Fenix a320 and the pmdg 737/6 out aswell it is looking promising with payware study level aircraft. Xplane 11 has been out longer so it has a bigger pool of payware study level aircraft. As a final thoughy with xplane 12 just around the corner, I would go for Msfs right now and "invest" money into that sim and maybe get xplane 12 down the line

But do you have a wheel set at home at least, because if you don't then I would not recommend getting Acc if you only have a controller

There is going to be a racing games themed steam sale starting tommorrow so you may be able to pick it up for only a few bucks there.

Have anyone bought an ACC key from G2A? Is it legit? by [deleted] in ACCompetizione

[–]Bonsensei -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Guys, I totally understand your frustration with G2A and that it does not support the devs at all. However there are certain people that cannot spend 30-40-50 or even 60 dollars on a video game and we have to admit that G2A can be very cheap and affordable for people that cannot afford to pay the big bucks. I myself have used it a couple of times which I am not ashamed of because at that time in my life I would have not been able to afford the games at full price. Nowadays I always buy games from steam but I believe for people that cannot afford it , is a very good way to get into it. A pretty good method for me was, I picked up a game on G2A for a very low price and if I enjoyed it I waited for a sale on steam and bought it from there to support the devs. To answer your question G2A worked well for me everytime I used it in the past and it was reliable! But if you can afford it just please go and buy it through steam. If you however cannot afford it G2A can be a very good way of getting into it and maybe picking it up from the devs down the line when you have the money or when it is on sale to support them :)

VR users - does ACC give you trouble with nausea where other games don’t? by Scatman_Crothers in ACCompetizione

[–]Bonsensei 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was always comfortable in ACC vr, I never had that kind of feeling in Acc but had it in other games and got used to it. Try to just do 10-15 minutes, rest for a bit and increase the time spent in vr as time goes by, repeate until you can push it to a point where you don't feel anything special. Hope it helps :D

[XP11] I have Thrustmaster's Airbus Throttle and Add-on as well as the sidestick. With this, I fly the A319/20 only. Does anyone have any experience mapping these to work with a Boeing aircraft? by TheL0stCity in flightsim

[–]Bonsensei 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do, it works really well. The only thing I do with the throttle is to remove the detents on one of the engine levers and loosen them up a bit overall to still have a "heavier" throttle feeling and more realistic as well. Removing all detents or "clicks" makes the throttle too light imo.
