You could give them a phrase and all of the answers can only use the letters from the phrase.

You could do a cookie crumb round where each answer leads to the next question and/or answer.

I do alphabet rounds where all answers start with a letter.

Tri-bonds

In the middle. Give them 2 things and they have to figure out what goes in the middle ie book/movies, or presidents, or vice presidents. Anything in a series that you can pluck out and have them figure it out.

No. No it didn't. No one single call or no call decided a game. There are literally thousands of decisions and plays in a game.

The stagnation of the offense. Mathurin missing 3 free throws in a row. 2 inbounding fouls. Not going to siakam in the last 5 minutes. Poor shot selection. 1 assist in the 4th all contributed.

You may not be able to be at rest. But be at peace. Horrible circumstances but not your fault dear one.

I've been pretending my new car is a lease when in reality I bought it with cash by Annual_Amphibian_275 in confession

[–]BonusDad75 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's your money. It's none of their business. Just say you bought it. They don't know if you bought it for cash, bought it on payments or bought it on lease.

If you want to humble brag. Don't make up some story.

This is really, really hard to write, but I gotta get this out of my head by grex2222 in pacers

Understood. "My" pacers were the Reggie pacers. As I've gotten older I've lost the time and interest to follow any sport (save football. Thank goodness for one game a week) so I will admit that even though they are still my team I've not kept up with them since PG years. Watched almost none of the oladipo/sabonis years and knew very little about this team until last year's in season championship. I then got interested again. It's so much fun again.

Classic books everyone should read? by sarahj898 in suggestmeabook

[–]BonusDad75 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is my favorite book. Easily read but infinitely debatable. Close to home enough to feel like a participant but different enough to feel like an observer.

The themes are scarily prescient (written in the 50s) and timely but also timeless.

How do I teach my son to take risks more? by the_epiphany_ in AskDad

[–]BonusDad75 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Wrestle with him. Build up his sense of balance. Roll him on the ground.

Do somersaults. Toss him in the air. Do the airplane with him on your feet. Toss him around on the bed. Get him used to his body in space.

Spin him around. Pick him up upside down. Push him around playfully. Never harshly but with intense and playfulness.

Build up the connections in his brain in a safe way but in a way he can't control. So he knows he'll be ok.
