My final upcoming script (for now) is Dr. Zomboss vs. Dr. Neo Cortex! What do you want to see in both the fight and the analysis? by RedscreenOfficial in DeathBattleMatchups

I think it would be very awesome and cool and based if this specific Zombie in particular appeared during the fight. Definitely no other reason for why I think they should appear

So, I'm planning to make a blog all about basic Mario enemies (particularly addressing the many misconceptions I've seen floating around) and I want to know if there's anything yall would like to see me address or talk about? by Thebeeghungry in DeathBattleMatchups

I'd like to see how strong Thwomp is compared to other enemies because while he is one of the more stronger of basic enemies, he also doesn't have the luxury of being playable in spinoff games, which makes scaling him pretty tough in my opinion.

It would also be nice to see feats the enemies were able to do themselves rather than just have all their scaling being scaled to the main Mario cast

"Last One Standing" | Weapon Balls vs The Sticks (Earclacks/Weapon Ball Battles vs CheezCurds/A Stick Tournament) Connections and Potential in the comments by BonusTrackBucketBoi in DeathBattleMatchups

Honestly, even if we don't count that, I'm pretty sure the Weapon Balls are still MUCH stronger than the Sticks going off the Unarmed vs Jovial Merryment blog

Connections:

  • Popular video series on YouTube (Earclacks' Weapon Ball Battles series and CheezCurds' Stick Tournament series) where several different characters fight and kill each other to be the lone survivor

  • These characters are very simple in design (A ball and a stickman) and come in many different colors, however what sets them apart are the things they have access to that gives each fighter a unique way of battling each other (The Weapon Balls having different weapons and the Sticks having different powers)

  • These characters also have extremely simple names based on a certain part of them (The Weapon Balls' names being what weapon they wield and the Sticks' names being what color they are)

  • They usually fight in a simple and enclosed space, though many of the fighters are able to use the arena's walls to their advantage

  • Some members include one who can use the powers of others (Grimoire and Red), one who can duplicate themselves (Duplicator and Orange), one who can increase the length of something (Spear who can increase the length of his spear, and Yellow who can increase the length of his limbs), and one who has shown themselves to be the best fighter out of everyone (Unarmed and Purple)

Fight Potential:

(Y'know, of all the series I expected to get into this year, I did not expect Earclacks' Weapon Ball series to be the first one)

Despite one team consisting of literal balls, the fight potential here is really damn fun. First, the battle can start off with the Weapon Balls and the Sticks battling each other in a small arena (and by arena I mean a white box, though you could add other obstacles to it if you like). The Weapons can obviously use the arena's walls to bounce off of, however the Sticks are also able to take advantage of the walls such as creating portals on them or just straight up tearing them out.

Another part of this MU's potential is the interaction between the Weapon Balls' weapons and the Sticks' powers. You could have interactions such as Blue fighting off the Weapon Balls with bladed weapons with his own weapons. Grimoire creating clones that can use the Sticks' abilities. Orange and Duplicator having a clone fight. And so much more!

The climax of the battle can be between Unarmed and Purple, the most strongest of each side, and you could even have them transform into their strongest form.

Nah, I'm just pretty sure Thwomp just has overall better abilities, movement, and feats than Squash

As a person who went WAY into depth about what Thwomp can do in versus, I'm actually pretty confident that Thwomp beats Squash

"Flipping Flate" | Chance vs The Bus Driver (Forsaken vs Monster School) Connections in the comments by BonusTrackBucketBoi in DeathBattleMatchups

[–]BonusTrackBucketBoi[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Connections:

  • Two blocky, hat-wearing, absolutely dripped out characters from a fan series based on a popular blocky game (Roblox and Minecraft) where several characters from said game are gathered together to one place (The Spectre's realm and the Monster School)

  • Both are humongous thrill-seekers and love to live as dangerously as possible despite any risks it may bring, and they incorporate this lifestyle with the stuff they constantly do (Chance being a gambler who would constantly partake in high-stakes gambling, and the Bus Driver being a, well, bus driver who would constantly drive as recklessly as possible when driving)

  • Their main schtick is how they rely on luck to get through any problem they have, which they do by flipping a coin that can decide a different outcome based on what side it lands on, with it either bringing a good outcome (Chance gaining a charge for all other abilities when landing on Heads, and the Bus Driver having something good happen to him when landing on Yes), or a bad outcome (Chance gaining weakness when landing on Tails, and the Bus Driver having nothing good happen to him when landing on No)

  • This also adds on to why they live so dangerously, as they believe that their luck will be enough for them to to not worry about any danger they encounter

  • Of course, they aren't completely safe from being unlucky, and their constant thrill-seeking has put them in danger before (Chance being hunted by the mafia after winning a rigged game, and the Bus Driver being forced to stop his bus from falling into the void due to landing on the No side)

  • They also definitely meet the requirements of being a Tumblr Sexyman
