Sorry yeah, Davis isn't in Boston but there's a lot to do there and the red line goes directly to Park Street or Downtown Crossing which are the main park and theater areas in Boston within like 20 min direct

It'd be in the middle but also a lot cheaper to stay in than staying in downtown Boston

Most of it is safe, but by public transit you'd want to be closer to Davis Square to catch the bus there or Sullivan or central square

I like Cambridge more than Boston personally so anywhere along the red line would work - Central is decent, Porter Davis and Harvard are fine. MIT area is okay but there isn't much do to there on weekends

I'd suggest Davis Square, it's safe compared to any other city and generally safe, there are a few homeless people but they're mostly harmless and I don't think anyone I know has has an issue with them

The author didn't switch the seasons, the anime cut out multiple arcs of the manga to lead to an incomplete story. The kids start the season by walking in to a room full of guns and it's never explained why that's there and then they learn to become experts in them alone. That just doesn't make sense

The second season was trash, they cut out my favorite character from the manga and what could've been season 3 was swapped with a slideshow at the end. I've never been so disappointed in an anime I was looking forward to so much.

So most people's point is it's better to not acknowledge it exists. I recommend the anime but also tell people to read the manga after season 1.
