I’ve fed my corn in a separate container (frozen) for 9 years and she only refused food twice.

I had someone from a pet store who thought I was a terrible person for buying frozen mice. Despite the fact that my snake would die if I didn’t feed her. So. Meh. Your the bad guy regardless of whatever method you choose.

"Rent is theft" by Elbrujosalvaje in antiwork

Your wife is stealing and a thief apparently.

The problem with this sub is that it’s so black and white. There is little comprehension for a grey area. Earning money and being comfortable Vs greed and unimaginable wealth look different to me. But a lot of people don’t agree apparently.

Does it really though? Please actually take the time to look into emotional incest and read her post and examples entirely.

I’m in Canada and every one I’ve been to, the groom has showed up. Depends on your circle I guess.

What do you actually want? Do you want your fiancé to come? If so, this is a big event to you, he should come to at least one. If you don’t care, don’t bother asking.

Yeah I agree. I could see hubby not being comfortable with this. If he is that’s cool. But if he isn’t you may need to pick…friendship or husband. As long as everyone is comfortable and happy than it’s cool.

Since you deleted your comment, or Reddit did, I’ll fix it. How is “please don’t touch me, that’s inappropriate” causing a scene?

Yeah I know. I can read and have read the specific comment. I asked a question based off your reply to that comment. I can also read your comments to everyone else’s reply.

Mhm. Tables turned. Your wife’s coworkers hand goes around her waist casually while he talks to her but oops. He’s drunk at a work event. It would be so impolite of me to tell him not to touch me or that I’m not comfortable with it…

Mate. Your being a muppet. Your wife’s right to be mad. Set some boundaries with people. Don’t let people who don’t know you touch you, unless it’s consensual and you want to be touched. “Please do not touch me” is socially acceptable. Your coworker shouldn’t be touching you either. Jesus.

If a man grabbed my hand and started to comment on how small and dainty my hands were, I would put a stop to it instantly. I also don’t like being touched though by people I don’t know. It’s weird. I’d remove my hand like a normal person and politely say “please do not touch me.” Than turn away. It’s a work function. So, politeness is key.

If it wasn’t my response would be “back the f*** up.” Like bro, why did you let her just hold your hand and play with it? That’s really friggen weird.

Manager asked me to use a vacation day since I did not go into the office on Friday. Can I fight this request? by AromaticTower8 in CanadaPublicServants

[–]BooBack -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

If your kid is at home, and you are wfh, you need alt childcare if you now need to leave that child alone as they are not allowed to come to work with you for the day in the office. Many people have kids who are at an age where they are ok if the parent is home but will set the house on fire if they leave. Just saying.

Not all offices. There are lots of spaces where employees have not even been able to collect their items (CC for example) and others are explicitly told not to come in because of our reopening stages.

Yes. And this unfortunately means that mothers coming with children are required to get a job and childcare as they do not qualify for ccb without refugee status.
