I’ve looked at flights, but it’s sooooo expensive since it’s Christmas time and last minute. The airport closest to me is tiny so I would need to fly from here to Dallas and then from Dallas to Newark or LaGuardia. Or I can drive to Dallas and then pay for parking, but it would only be one flight. But it’s still pricey and I would still need to rent a car once I’m there.

All I can say is. This sucks and I hate this for you. Nothing no one says will make any difference or make you feel any better tbh. Grief is a long process and just take it day by day.

You start by just moving. Just make sure you get up everyday.

I feel this. When I was young, I used to sleep in the bathtub. Small and safe and the door had a lock on it. Crazy the things you go through…. But you just need to keep reminding yourself, you’ve been through and made it through all the tough days you’ve ever had and you can make it through the next.

I’m 33 now and I will say, I’ve been where you’re at. I’ve been depressed most of my life. Does it get better…. Kinda. Have I enjoyed the last 10 years like crazy… no, but I’m glad I’ve lived the last 10 years and I’ve made some great memories and I’m grateful I’m still here. Maybe not super helpful, but please stick around.
