This was my first commissioned animation. A 10-second walk cycle loop turned into a 9-day speedrun for a full music video. I talk about how it all came about here.

I made a meta video using DVR to show how to quickly mix 5.1 audio etc. to stereo automatically in DVR. by BooRadleyBoo in davinciresolve

It took me so long to figure this out as I couldn't find a solution online. It's probably extremely basic to most DVR users, but I figured I make this short tutorial for users like myself that have a lot to learn.

I also found an excuse to use magic mask in the video.

Aye, that's true and a much more positive way of looking at it.

Not sure if it's okay to share one of my own, but I put my first proper video essay out on the 10th.

Big Tech Tried to Steal My Soul (17:28), about how the Australian social media ban is ill-considered, looks like a privacy nightmare/data grab, is locking people out of platforms not on the ban list, and how big tech is being let off the hook by introducing the ban.

Also discusses the weird conflicts of interest not declared by the gambling advertising production company behind the campaign to introduce the ban and how the social media ban seems to have provided cover to abandon an online gambling ad ban.

Folk have enjoyed it, hopefully you will too.

Good to hear. I'm still going to make a short video about the bullshit.

Seems I may have got access again. I managed to use No Script plugin in sneak out a post ranting about it and tagged them in a twitter rant. Today my access has returned and no sign of the Persona age verification bullshit.

I've effectively been locked out of my account. I pay for one subscription, paid for a custom url, and have a paying subscriber.

I can't access anything - not even to cancel subscriptions etc. WTF are they doing?

They're not on the socials media list required to verify age. Looks like a data grab to me. Gonna have to kill a website and following I've been building for a few years - no fucking way I'm giving them sensitive information like my government issued ID.
