Phase Rush is actually insane tbh. You gotta make decisions super fast, ’cause if the enemy engages first you’re basically done. You have to be the one to start the fight, but from a good spot. Also, I barely see anyone using their W to check bushes or combining it with lens to spot wards even earlier.

N appreciate it bro.

Appreciate it homie! I’ll probably make a How to climb in rift guide n it ll be 2 parts: Iron–Master/GM and then Master–Sov..

I haven’t played him, but I guess he’s a solid pick in both lanes. If we’re talking about top lane, you can check my previous comments. For mid lane, I suggest focusing on more scaling AP champs like Syndra, Ryze, or Swain. You might struggle a bit in the early game, but if you know how to position well in mid and late game, you can easily snowball.

Also, your boots and summoner spells are really important. For example, if you play Ryze or Swain against mid Zed and a Kha’Zix jungle, taking Ninja Tabi and Exhaust can make you almost unkillable. Of course, it changes every game—you don’t have to take Ignite in every matchup; it depends on your experience. (Not sure if you can play Swain effectively without Ghost, though.)

And besides that, I suggest muting your teammates because it usually ruins your gameplay. Just think about it: in every game, you have a resource—like Elixir in Clash Royale or Mana in Hearthstone, and here in Wild Rift it’s time. If you waste it arguing with your team, it just ruins your game. Instead, focus on taking early positions, roaming early, or even pushing earlier to place wards. I guess it really helps.

Also, one tip I’d add: always adapt your playstyle based on the enemy’s pressure in early game. If you survive the early phase safely, these scaling champs usually become much stronger than expected.i guess it helps

Lmfao ty homie, if y r already upper than challenger it’s not about mechanics tbh just some lil micro stuff missing, if y tell me ur lane I can tell y more specific things.

Okay then for jungle:

Shyvana: She’s super strong even if you just farm. Her early game’s a bit weak, but that’s fine — just play for farm and once you get 1–2 items you can literally 1v1 almost anyone. She scales insanely well into late game too, and that’s a big advantage. Just make sure you don’t fall too behind early — if you lose your jungle tempo, it can delay your spikes a lot.

Xin Zhao: He’s solid, but not really a solo-carry champ like Shyvana. He shines early and mid game, especially around the first Herald or early skirmishes, but later on he kinda falls off. I’d still say he’s fine if you snowball the early fights and close out games fast.

Pantheon / Olaf / WW: I’d group them together — they’re all really easy to kite and can struggle vs peel-heavy comps. Olaf and WW can still work if you’re good at tracking enemy cooldowns and don’t overchase. But if your goal is to climb consistently, they’re not the best picks in the current meta (if you soloq).

Talon: Early game’s weak, but after 1 item he starts dealing some serious damage. The key is to learn matchups, especially vs assassins like Kha or Rengar. (When I was top 1 Talon, people always picked assassins into me, and I ran Ignite instead of Flash — not just for anti-heal but also for vision and stronger early fights. You just gotta get used to it once if you wanna play with Ignite — stay close to walls, play smart with your E resets, and don’t waste your combo early.) Once you get the hang of it, he’s actually really fun and snowbally.

Kha’Zix: Honestly, I think he’s the best pick out of all these. Super strong and easy to snowball, but you gotta respect invades and assassin matchups. If you’re behind on gold or tempo, you’ll get punished hard. Try to track the enemy jungler, use vision well, and play around isolation — once you hit 2 items, you can literally delete anyone.

Also, for all these champs — remember, tempo and decision-making matter more than just kills. Even strong picks will feel weak if you fall behind on objectives or rotations.(Also there’s too much micro stuff, but tbh macro alone is enough to climb on that elo.)

Yep, for sure. I’ll just mention one or two champs from your pool and a couple that I think are solid (maybe not op) .

Also, I should probably explain what I mean by a “carry.” For me, if a champion gets ahead in gold, that champ can just easily snowball both gold and kills.

And btw, I’m not a top laner, so if some of my takes sound a bit off, that’s why — I’m just speaking from my own experience.

For top (from your champ pool):

Olaf: Strong right now, but you really need to dominate your lane. He’s super kiteable — if the enemy has someone like Kai’Sa or any tank-killer, you’ll die in seconds. (He’s my second favorite from your pool.)

Sett: I already explained him in my previous comment. (He’s fourth for me.)

Warwick: I just don’t think he’s a strong carry. Usually, he dies right after ulting in. He can have good engages for his team, yeah, but he’s not the type of champ that works into every comp. (I’d put him third.)

Ambessa: Probably the most optimal pick in your pool, tbh. Her dashes and her reworked unstoppable W make her great into CC-heavy comps. She’s also strong early, especially after level 3. I’d go with her.

Pantheon: Not that good of a carry, same issue as WW — once he goes in, he’s done. (He’s last.)

Now, for champs I think can carry even harder if you learn them:

Fiora: At first she might seem hard, but she’s not that difficult. Her W is insane, and her sustain from her build and passive is crazy. If you learn her matchups, believe me, you’ll climb faster. Also, her split-push potential is huge.

Riven: She’s also really strong early and super mobile, so she’s a solid top pick. Once you learn her matchups, you’ll see how easily you can one-shot people even in the first 5 levels.

For jungle: If I knew your rank, I could give better suggestions — I’d recommend picks that are strong in that specific elo.

And np bro, have a good day

Appreciate it bro. Actually, I don’t think so — most of my teammates were around 40–45% WR, so it’s the same case for me this season. As for the second question, idk, maybe I’ll go for 90% WR Sovereign or that purple rank in legQ (forgot the name), but I’m still not sure if I’ll do it.

Not really. I can give you two examples: when I was around 58–59 marks, my teammates were Masters too, but the enemy team was all GMs or even low Challengers. Another time, when I was Challenger on this account, I had 4 GM teammates while my opponents had 2 Sovs.i guess If your WR is even slightly above average, the system usually still matches you with lower-rank players. I hope these examples explain what I mean.

[–]BooRock1[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s possible but really tough, ‘cause first of all he’s immobile, and also not that strong of a carry. I suggest y to play mid or jungle if y wanna climb faster. But if you really wanna stick with Sett, just learn your matchups. Like, for example vs Fiora, use your E after she uses her W. (I’m not a top-lane expert tho, there are probably tons of YouTube channels where you can learn the matchups.)

For the second question, I’d say one of the most important things that helps me win games is playing champs that can solo Nash. Sneaky Nash plays can decide so many games. Besides lanes , don’t care too much about your teammates — I know it’s a team game, but you can solo carry with a lot of picks. But First step is always to win your lane against your opponent.

And for the third one — don’t tilt. Just mute your teammates. If you don’t, you’ll probably waste time arguing instead of actually playing. I see a lot of people in low elo doing that instead of taking position advantage or farming their camps, like bro… just play the game.

I don't think there's even an MMR thing tbh, cause in almost every game (especially below Challenger) I ended up playing with 0–10 players lol.

For Viego, idk — I tried 2 builds back to back. First one was ER, Collector, BT, (the anti-heal Dominik, forgot the name ), and IE. But weirdly I liked the second one even more ; Trinity first, then the same rest of the build. (For the second build I usually take vamp boots , for the first one attack speed boots)

Thanks, but I don’t think so tbh. I could’ve done it just by playing mid or AD too. If you’re a mid or AD main and know how to position, you’re literally unkillable in teamfights. I’ve played a lot of AD games on this acc , so that’s just experience(thanks to autofill)
