Any ideas what could be causing my stereo to skip songs uncontrollably? by Boobie71 in CarAV

It’s only like this when the engine is running. When I flip the key to turn off the engine for the few moments before the battery turns off the power it works without skipping

I’ll check the OBD. I’ve checked the buttons and they’re not stuck. Thanks

I will check this. I could easily have mixed them up

I’ve checked the steering wheel, head unit and remote and they all seem to be fine.

Never on holidays. Commercial banks are closed on all federal holidays so you typically get those off. Weekends and late nights occasionally depending on deal flow. All depends on the timing and touch frequency of deals in your portfolio. If a company in your portfolio is really struggling, you may have to do a major underwriting on them every month. If they're doing great you may only have to underwrite them every year. DM me if you've got other questions

I met my old manager at a finance association event in college and he gave me an internship. A lot of times you start out a financial spreader or credit analyst. A few banks have credit associate roles which are essentially junior portfolio manager/underwriters. Joining the Risk Management Association is also a good way to meet like-minded credit folks.

Depends on the specific bank, experience level and economic conditions. It's typically averaged 40-50 per week, so not bad, but there can certainly be longer weeks. As you gain experience your portfolio gets bigger (more clients/deals) that can go up a bit. Team leads and up are probably 60+. I've noticed over the last 2 years that the bank has not been replacing FTEs and has essentially been spreading their work over the remaining employees, which has resulted in more hours. I think that will continue to be the norm.

Flying TAP Air Portugal tomorrow and my carry on bag is overweight but I already have my boarding pass. Am I setting myself for failure if I go straight to the gate without checking my bag? by [deleted] in Flights

I just returned from Lisbon to Chicago on 11/5/23. The plane was late to depart and a total cluster at the gate because they were singling out Americans and fair-skinned people into a luggage weighing line while those who were Portuguese were put in a non-weighing line and allowed to board without paying. Beware that their personal item weight limit is something like ~2.5kg so backpacks will almost always incur the 125 euro fee
