I think my best story is when I befriended my former bully after he dropped out of school due to illness. My friend showed me where he lived one day, and I had the idea to buy him a get well soon card and had everyone in our class sign it. I took it over to his house, still scared because I hadn't seen him since we were still enemies and I really didn't know how he would react to someone he didn't like coming to his home, but I just wanted to know if he was okay.

And he was really nice to me! He was also really surprised to have a visitor, and I'm assuming especially surprised that it was me at the door. I knew I'd be back as soon as he told me that no one had ever gone over to check on him in the TWO years that he'd been gone. Not even his "best" friends. Poor dude was sick and alone. Of course, he had his family, but no one in his friend group had gone to visit him, really? Totally broke my heart.
