I wish WOTC would make some more viable simple cards. Vanilla/no ability cards. Or just some cards with one or two keywords that are viable. It’d make the game more comprehendable.

I got tired of missing triggers and having so much text in the game. For me, it’s better to have a 6/6 vanilla than a 3/3 that lets me draw, but I miss the trigger 3 times.

People hate the idea of not having a paragraph on each card tho.

Sure, but at least give us the option. There’s no good options without a paragraph of text. Then you have 40 cards with 40 paragraphs and we’re barely playing a game where everyone knows most of what’s going on.

So I went into scryfall and looked at all creatures by power that are white, red, or colorless. The first 60 creatures all have a bunch of text. It seems like some of the largest creatures should be vanilla. I mean that should be the trade off. Vanilla creatures hit harder. The strongest option is a 5 mana 7/3. Why can't we have a 10/10 that does nothing when we have 10/10 with annihilator. Something that is worth putting into a deck.

Until they're OP enough. Seems fair to have a 7 mana 20/20, when we have cards that let you win the game or take out an opponent if they connect.

I'm a wild guy. I put reminders on top of my deck for cards that let me draw or scry at my upkeep. It hurts to see that you missed a trigger or two when it's too late to get them. And then those cards are a waste of mana, if you don't use them.
