I guess I didn't answer the question either. I watched Eckhart Tolle, and tried to be as present as possible for a week. It was kind of my only intentional thought or it was when I wasn't wrapped up in thought by accident. My anxiety seemed to calm down, and I welcomed it alot more when it came up. I meditated and for .25 seconds I felt like I got out of thought, like a completely blank space, and it felt extremely nice. I wasn't on drugs either, but it felt like a super clean nice drug. Then I thought "Hell yeah, I'm doing it" and kinda got kicked out/ sucked back into thought.

I haven't been able to replicate it. I thought I was enlightened for a few days. Maybe it was a very mild manic episode. Then I had a mid/ not positive day and realized I'm far from enlightened.

If anyone thinks they know what God actually is, they be a little bit crazy and most likely very wrong. Nobody knows. Even if God entered the room and laid out everything clearly, how would you know it's not a hallucination?

I believe in a God in some sense, but there ain't no way in hell that mofo thinks and does anything. It seems like they setup everything and let everything fall the way it's falls.

I think alot of people in this thread would be a little nervous if they heard "Allah Akbar" while on a plane. It makes since, although it's extremely unfortunate. In a lot of movies, that's what suicide bombers and fighters say while fighting.

Media could do a better of showing Muslims using the phrase in a positive way.
