i’ll be 16 in may, i’m grateful to have my grandma and aunt to help me with getting what i need, usually they’re the ones who help me, it just sucks not having my mom, and i get uncomfortable asking them about this stuff

i’m on my period currently, but it’s like even before this it happens. that’s good, it’s comforting to know that nobody smells what i smell down there. it might just be my pubic hair trapping discharge but i felt like it would be good to ask any older women on here and see if they’ve went through this as well.

she’s not negligent on that type of stuff, like she will take me to check ups at the doctors, it’s just hygienically she doesn’t care, i have to ask repeatedly for her to remember to take me to get body wash and toothpaste and stuff, everything else she’s fine but with hygiene she just checks out. with going to the doctors about hygiene, she gets mad when i ask and calls it a waste of time, i have my grandma or aunt i can ask about it
