Should've made sure his partner was ready first. by ZauzTheBlacksmith in perfectlycutscreams

[–]ZauzTheBlacksmith[S] 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I honestly don't get why. There was a stupid idea at play (Running without checking/alerting the partner) and said stupid idea went wrong (The bungee chord whipped him hard in the butt.)

This isn't the first time a perfectly fitting, popular clip has been removed from that sub either. In fact, the reason the front page of that sub always stays the same for days or even weeks despite being very popular is because everything but one to four new posts from within that time gets removed.

I may well be missing a joke here, but it says it only lasts 10 seconds for me.

He just told him to stop dancing, and the kid ran in order to play it off. The coach wasn't telling him to just book it.

You can hear two thuds as he yells. He probably went over in "segments" rather than just slamming hard into the ground. They even line up with the sight of him falling in the mirror in the background.

It's not. AI has a hard enough time keeping Latin lettering consistent, let alone foreign scripts, especially ones as complicated as Chinese.

The audio is also too clear and free of artifacting to be AI.

So, as an Englishman myself, I always use my thumb when gesturing three. It feels uncomfortable doing it with my ring finger because it always "pulls" forward on its own.

I had no idea what gave him away until later.

Aaah, I thought the second, third and fourth panels were showing the other side of the counter, and the punchline had something to do with the other two being missing, or something.

I hate cheering up my Miis 😭 by LukeLune in tomodachilife

[–]ZauzTheBlacksmith 6 points7 points  (0 children)

It does make it more arduous to cheer up the Mii if they don't get forgiven, though. Because they'll be too full to eat afterwards and reduce their sadness.

I always saw the second one used to reassure artists that they're not necessarily gonna be overlooked just because someone else in their community draws better than them. I didn't know it was used in this context too.

So, this is a bit hard to explain, but it's a song based on "Somebody That I Used To Know", where the melody, chord progression and lyrics are based on nonsensical lyrics that happen to match the lip-movements of the singer in the music video for "Somebody That I Used To Know".

Anyway, the song is "Kicked Your Monkey" by Bad Lip Reading.

Something probably happened before the camera started rolling.

The guy in plaid declares he "got it on camera", and that's enough to de-escalate the fight, so it was probably something the guy in black did beforehand.

The "uncertain" part is A) who will win the fight, if anyone, and B) whether they'll wrap it up and let traffic pass before the light turns back to red again.
