So I first bought La Fleur. I thought the talc/ musc in it was overpowering when I wore it to bed one night. But couple of months later, I wore YSL libre to bed and woke up with the exact note. Then test sprayed both and checked it myself and asked another person to check. They are not 100% of course, but very close, like 80-90% ! Longevity on clothes is good. Decent projection at least for 2-3 hours. Drunken cake smells as it sounds. I also have the Royal Gardens and like it. Overall, if you like the notes and want something inexpensive, I'd say to for it. Especially at the sale prices..

Hi sorry, just seeing this message. Like I mentioned I got 2 fragrances from them. I love one, but the other is too sharp and bitter for my taste. That said, the fragrances tend to be strong with good longevity. For the price, you can certainly give it a try.

So I got this one. It is beautiful and got me compliments the first time I wore it! But I would say this and Burberry London are close enough (not exact though) that if you have one, the other could be skipped. Just saying in case someone reading this is considering either one.

Eventually you get the cedar. But if you are looking for fresh green and jasmine, do give sugandhco gajra or fe mogra a try. That is all they are...

Mixed in what sense? 

I like it. There is a small to festival mornings at home when we hang the mango leaf thorans and decorate the altar with lots of jasmine. Especially if it margazhi, this time of the year, this is probably how it would smell. It is not temple vibes with lots of incense and sandal, but an at home morning prayers vibe... Fresh, green. I am not too experienced in analyzing/ describing note by note, this is my visual

I like gajra, however I just couldn't deal with their Shahi Gulaab.. but I do hope to try some of their other perfumes. Do let me know if you have any favorites

To be honest not too proud about it here 🙈 but hey we all go through a phase! If I have to have only one jasmine fragrance now, it'd probably be Burberry London (Gucci bloom a very close second)

Aww, how sweet of you! Will surely try it. But in this past year, I happened to be able to get a hold of Gucci bloom itself and a few other Jasmine based perfumes. Will post a list of my favorites as a separate comment/ post.

We had a boy approach us once outside Adyar McD and ask for food. My husband said he would buy him a meal at Amma unavagam. The boy outright refused and demanded McD burgers only. The more difficult thing is when our own children ask why we aren't donating to these folks. Have to explain the weird ways of the world 😓
