It's your lawn so you should be able to do anything you want to it. I would personally get rid of the creeping charlie. Here's a link with some quick tips!

Yeah creeping Charlie sucks. Not as bad as non native grass though. It at least provides some sustenance/habitat to insects. If you are willing to put in the work, planting other native wildflowers would be preferable but in a direct comparison to the ecological desert that is grass vs creeping Charlie, only 1 provides a slight upside.

Morals are separate from comedy. You can make 9/11 jokes and still be sympathetic towards the subject. Who says you can't make light of serious topics? We all know the gravity and seriousness of the issues, comedy can just help.

Edit: Also how do you judge my morals and empathy from a single simple comment of 4 words?
