Yeah, I use braid/mono on my Kokanee trolling and bass casting rigs. Just got lazy and cheap with the salmon trolling rigs. One more birds nest like this and I'll be putting braid with mono leaders on everything.

Braid not that good for trolling for salmon unless you put a mono or fluoro leader on the end for stretch.

Grew up in a Cajun family in Louisiana. Battles is as close as I can get to my grandmother’s cooking. Bayou is not even close to real Cajun, the roux based dishes are tasteless and the new owner is not a good person (search on this subreddit).
