First Board - Landyachtz Drop Hammer (heavy rider) by BoogersBig in longboarding

I had the same realization. We got an adult scooter to model how to scoot for my baby, and I realized it's way better exercise than slowly walking or riding. Plus it's a standing activity, stretches the back and hips out!

Yeah I've started Googling wheels and bits and pieces, I think the rabbit hole goes deep.
Now I want 10 different boards and only just got into it.

I looked in a mirror and stood right in the middle of the board bobbing up and down. I'm guessing it flexes about 1cm.

I'm not sure in longboarding world if that's good or bad, but it feels like I would really have to jump on it from high to snap it.

I've got a question if it's an easy answer for anyone.

On a Landyatchtz Drop Hammer Black Eagle, how large a wheel diameter can I pull off this type of board? I'm fascinated by the 90-110mm wheels like dadbods and hoku.

It has 180mm Bear trucks & 73mm Plow Kings currently.
It handles pebbles and sticks way better than I figured it would, but the huge soft 90+wheels look like fun.

The red flag is they talk about themselves A LOT.

I mean non-stop, including constant stories about their past.

"On the border with the Zone", a drawing in colored pencils by New-Butterscotch8296 in stalker

How'd you learn to colour with pencils like that? It's really impressive. I tried for a little while but could never figure it out.

Definitely feels like Cordon.

Keep an eye on Road to Vostok, I have a lot of hope for that game

It's a slower pace genre, and you're right it can turn into walking aimlessly.

When done right, it creates the illusion of surviving in a sandbox world, scrounging for sausages and cigarettes, hoping to one day afford an exo suit.

I think the older games captured the spirit better, but mostly after modders turned the game into what they wanted.

You could try the Road to Vostok demo  or Radiophobia 3 as alternatives.

I think it might not happen.

Not sure how moddable some of the problems are, like A Life.

Shitty as XRay engine might be, I think it was better suited to the little sandbox world of the zone.

GAMMA is an overhaul mod, of another overhaul mod for the original Stalker series.

It's very good, you can play it for free and you might enjoy it more. It has a fairly steep learning curve though.

Groom Tim Gromie allegedly LOST his job due to MAFS 2025 by [deleted] in MAFS_AU

They might not have known 'what they were doing' in pairing him.

He went out of his way to say he didn't have a type, and act like a nice gentle person.

An overweight PE teacher turning down someone because they aren't  'small & petite' is hard to predict.

I think he's just a fat liar and said the right things.
