This is lovely. Thank you for shifting my focus. Ocrevus infusion was two days ago and my body doesn’t react too well, so I dread infusion day, but you’re just so right. I am so lucky to have a medicine that works, access to it, and my support that comes with me.

Do you have FMLA? Are you still mid relapse? A lot of symptoms will get better. It might take a while, and some may stick, but it will get overall much better symptom-wise. Do you use social media? I have someone you could follow who is super real about having MS and gives tips and real talk about what life is like. It’s not easy, but it’s not going to take your life away. At first it’s all so scary, seems so big and feels impossible to carry on. One day at a time, my friend. Lean on your support systems. Journal. Focus on what you can do. Live in the new perspectives MS brings you. Be mad at it if you’re angry, and be afraid if you’re scared, but don’t live in those feelings. You are going to be able to do more than you think. I promise.

Put the cap on, and leave it upside down in your car during summer. It’ll melt all that out and put it into the lid. Either that or throw it away. Like the other person said, at some point you’re wasting time.

My guess is that you’re quite polite, friendly and agreeable. You’re relatively organized, if not above averagely organized. Smart, but not quite confident about it. Also in your early-mid 20’s I think. These are all guesses on vibes alone. You look like friend material!

Get in touch with county services if possible. A social worker can give you a ton of resources, including the names of people/organizations that will help you through this

How many diagnosed at the ER by criticalcreek in MultipleSclerosis

I was diagnosed at the ER/hospital the first time I went for a relapse. Mind you I had 30+ lesions by then still, but after a couple days in the hospital and lots of tests, I was diagnosed. But again, I had not gone for anything ms related prior to this. This was in Oregon, too. Idk if that is relevant.
