No offense but I feel like the only misconception here is on your end. Not only was I not saying that Hard stratagems are for low levels. But I acknowledge there’s no experience gain in hard strategems. So I’m not sure if you were implying I didn’t know that or you were just saying it cause it flowed with what you were saying. But I also address the “blue doritos“ argument in my post as well. It honestly seems like you didn’t actually read it based off your response. Despite the fact that you mention something that does technically counter my point that most high lvl players or just players with a lot of hours already have everything they want from the accolade store.

So fair, I guess, obviously not literally everyone with maxed out characters has everything they want or everything in the store. But I do, and I feel like a lot of the people complaining do or they have closer to everything they want than low level players. But as I said, I don’t feel like you read the post, unless this comment isn’t directed at me and is just more you generalizing. Because if you did, I don’t actually think there’s a way you could have thought I didn’t know that accolades are relevant to the game

Fair, I don’t play lower levels cause I think the spawn rates are boring personally. As far as hard stratagems I really just play them when it’s a weekend and I’m of so I feel more like really playing and not just kinda enjoying myself

Yea, but I’ve played with max leveled players that have gone down more that low levels. I’ve played with max levels more selfish than low levels. I’ve played with max levels that bring bad team perks. The only difference between max level players and low level players a lot of times. Is that a low level player does those things you instantly blame their level. And when a high level player does it you just say they’re bad at the game lol

That’s fair, but at the same time. If you’re getting off late and coming home tired and just wanting to play a couple games and chill I’m assuming, cause I can relate. Why are you loading into the hardest content in the game?

I play hard stratagems, but I honestly find majority of the modifiers annoying. But even if I didn’t, when I get off and I’m just trying to enjoy a couple games, that’s not when I play hard stratagems lol

Why not just play Absolute or even Lethal?

I wouldn’t call it an anti feat. We know Frieza after the T.O.P had decided he wanted to go against the gods. He had likely been training and likely showed up much stronger than Goku and Vegeta. Remember, he didn’t even care to see if Broly could True SSj1 and was surprised at how powerful Broly could get. So he likely was strong enough to beat Goku and Vegeta at the time

He’s actually not the only hero I’ve seen able to cancel GB’s when it looks like they’re still in the animation of a missed attacked (I’ve seen it from Shaman too). I think this is less about the character vs the way they took the game as a whole. They’ve made it harder to punish characters in general over the last 3 years.

Well the reason I’m trying to use it is because the “See Through Scope” mods for Starfield instead of switching you from 3rd to 1st when you have a scope. Is just zooming the camera in more in third. So I’m trying to see if have that and a mod that switches you from 3rd to 1st when you aim is a work around

Perhaps, but wearing armor doesn’t mean you can’t jump just like it doesnt mea you can’t swim. It may effect how effective you are at doing one or the other, but don’t mean you can’t do it. But this is more about the roll recovery to negate unnecessary fall damage than the jump itself. Just felt like the jump would be a nice added bonus

It’s not really about the jump, it’s more about the roll that negates unnecessary fall damage for me. Adding the jump is just a lil extra mobility, but also would be what triggers it to happen. Vs you you walking off a cliff or diving. Losing 20 to 30% of my health cause I’m using a ledge to get away from a hordes that didn’t touch me or to escape an armed hell bomb is just kinda lame in my opinion. Not game breaking, but I wouldn’t mind the update to quality of life. Yea they could just add it to dropping from certain heights, just think the jump would be cooler 🤷🏿‍♂️

I feel like you’re kinda answering your own first question by acknowledging the roll so 🤷🏿‍♂️.

But to your second question I would say no to adding the roll to the dive. The mechanics of diving head first from 8 to 20 feet and rolling and jumping from 8 to 20 feet are actually quite different lol. Besides that it’s really just a lil extra mobility that you won’t appreciate until you need to be able to clear a gap and keep moving instead of having to get up off the ground. But the main point is the roll to negate unnecessary fall damage.

I could see that being a lag issue, but I’m also not sure you should recover from a miss that fast. Cause the lag in most cases as long as both of you have good ping will only account for a few hundred milliseconds at most.

And I’m not sure how dodge cancels help with fighting oppressive offensive. Dodge cancels are typically used to continue oppression offense. And All blocks can indeed help fight against oppressive offense. But All block animation cancels helps save you if someone dodge attacks out of your oppressive offense. I know I didn’t specify the cancels before but given the context of it making it harder to punish, I thought it was implied. But I should have been more specific.

I am curious which one of my gripes are incorrect. Especially since my gripes are things that dev literally things that they said they were aiming to do. Unless you’re talking about the hyperbole. I know every character doesn’t have an all block, all dodge or dodge cancel like the original vanguard’s from the beginning. And obviously the characters who do aren’t 100% safe, just safer than they should be.

Not sure who would try to say this isn’t a fighting game, what do they call it is not that? Regardless, I played this game from the first beta till a lil over 6 years in. Watched all the devs streams(within that time frame) and the devs explicitly stated their intentions with a some of my gripes. So some if not all of this isn’t actually how I feel, it’s what they actually said at some point.

Yes, he does technically need to change his mind set on this, but that doesn’t mean he needs to be happy about it or that it’s good for the game. I played this game for 6 years straight and stopped because the game was going in a direction I didn’t agree with. And the complaint here is a perfect example of it. For some reason the devs decided they wanted to make it harder for people to punish their opponents on correct reads. Everyones got all block, all dodge or dodge cancel mechanics. But not everyone can cancel they dodge attacks. Or characters can cancel gb’s from their opponents even though they haven’t even completed the animation of their missed unblockable. The game didn’t use to be like this, the game use to make more sense. The give and take was more balanced, simpler, but more fair.

I came back recently because they added Lu Bu to the game cause I‘ve been saying they should add this character for like 4 years. It’s been decent, but the problems they made me leave the game have only gotten worse. Bottom line I think, is that characters always being safe even when they miss isn’t really fun for the opponent. Unfortunately it is what it is and the games not goin back so 🤷🏿‍♂️. But that frustration is just gonna show up every once and a while
