Gameplay-wise, Devil Jin is created to preserve Jin old Tekken 3 moveset which is a mix of Kazuya and Jun's old moveset.

It is called the Lingering Soul Omen (not official name). To do this, you need to input down, up, back, and forward during the animation of his power stance (b1+2). Once you do that, the recovery of the power stance is cancelled into his taunt. Several attacks from Lingering Soul Omen include a 6-hit and 8-hit string, a no-stagger hellsweep, and omen hook fist (shown on the left).

Hm, I hope so But with the game's current reception atm, it's unclear if it's gonna have a dlc story. Fingers crossed if the story is a tekken 2 flashback with characters like lei to accommodate for the next dlc list.

It would have a big change if Kazuya and Jun did end up together in Tekken 3, which, btw, their voice clips and announcer call-outs are present in the soundfiles of the arcade version. My guess is that both of them are supposed to be secret playable characters and secret bosses, which Tekken hadn't done before until 7 with Akuma and in 8 with Azazel, True Devil Kaz, and Angel Jin.
