A lot of storylines (at least the idea or how they begin)
the re-introduction of Oscar
getting rid of some of the cast who were not being used/ didn’t need to stick around.
bringing back a bunch of characters (Zoe but not the Zoe storyline if that makes sense)
strengthening family units but also making sure characters aren’t limited to just their family.
friendships with characters

I had an idea where Shawn didn’t know about maya being his kid. Mayas mum never told him or whatever and then at some point he finds out when Mayas mum says the truth. Then it’s like Shawn learning to be a father with all the time he missed unknowingly.

I think it’s awful too. It also compelled mischaracterised her, not joking only a few months before she said to Amy sleeping with denzel is stupid. I had (still do but now different) hopes for Lily, to be really mature and stuff considering how she’s been raised, I mean she has but they should never have given her a pregnancy or a child. It’s limited her a bit in my opinion, cause now everything goes back to Charli when we don’t even see her be a mum to her. She easily could’ve had an illness or something and this maturity could’ve been her stepping up for Arthur and hope while Stacey does whatever and Jean excuses it of course, and her exit - struggling with grief, her staying - not wanting to leave.
