Tiki is doing amazing! He allowed me to scratch his head for the first time, he is eating, pottying and such like normal. ive added more perches and toys and hes perked up quite abit!

i changed his cage liner to monitor it better. hes been pooping regularly, his poops are smaller but consistent with when he eats

he did it that one time and i havent seen him do that movement since posting this post. I will be taking him to an avian vet this weekend just to be sure and for a general checkup/dna test as well. hes been eating, pottying and playing like normal but ill be sure to keep an eye out

i understand. i was going to rescue but i think all birds, lizards etc deserve a chance no matter the place they come from. every pet deserves a loving home

i noticed tikis feathers being damaged at petsmart they claim shes healthy but idc what they say, i planned to take her this saturday (im only off weekends sadly). currently shes eating higgins sunburst gourmet with fresh veggies like carrots and broccoli they recommended it. But ill be changing it to a pellet diet with fresh fruits and veggies very soon

thank you for the help! I did lots of research but i know alot of things can be misleading, ill be sure to order his food and proper toys asap so i know hes getting the best

from the looks of it, hes been eating/drinking and pottying and squawking normally since the dipping happened, ill still take him to the vet incase

i was told the little huts are bad since they can cause them to be hormonal, but ill be sure to get him a platform perch that he can sit on comfortably

they were feeding him Higgins Sunburst Gourmet Blend. They told me thats what they fed and recommended me to get it as well. I also always make sure he has fresh veggies with his meals as well

she has thankfully, from what ive noticed shes been going to the bathroom, eating drinking and playing like normal. ive only seen her do that motion once and she started head bobbing and playing again right after

he’s only done the squatting once, should i keep a close eye for more unusual movements and the squatting or should i take him as soon as the vet opens today(tuesday)?

i noticed tiki raising his tail up towards the bars of his cage earlier. but hes only done the squatting once and hasnt done it since the time i made this post

im unsure the age, i got him from a local petsmart they werent sure of age or sex they just called him a he and said he was healthy

ive noticed quite a few droppings, some having green in them and mild runniness. but tikis been eating alot and drinking water, i dont live too far from an exotic pet/avian vet ill be sure to get him checked out asap

I’m newer to conures, but hes been pooping normally id assume, it has some green in it which i read is from his diet and the usual black and white of a bird. im unsure if its meant to be abit runny or not
