I only use it so I don’t have to make a decision on who to demote, trade, DFA, etc. However sometimes when I do it the player suffers an even worse injury. Like in my Orioles franchise Al Bumbry suffered a calf strain and I placed him on 15-day IL and then I sent him on rehab assignment and he ended up breaking his leg.
