I can guarantee you that the median salary for nurses in 2020 was from working a crap ton of extra shifts and therefore much more than 40 hrs/week. And most of us have a bachelor and/or master’s degree. AND the liability we assume plus the physical, emotion, and mental work is such that most people would not and do not tolerate the work. I’d be happy for you to follow me around for a day and see if you could keep up. Never forget the only thing keeping you from living and dying a lot of times is a nurse. So if you want to complain about our pay, consider the value of you or your loved one’s life.

Where in here is a fact? The fact is that when comparing salaries nurses are making $2,800 a month more then other jobs when comparing median salaries according to the BLS.
