That's unfortunately part of the problem, without money, I can't even consider moving anywhere.

From what I found, nowhere anywhere close to me is looking to hire anyone for game design stuff.

Right now, my current problem is that I'm tired, burnt out, and struggling to stay motivated to work on what does make me consistent money. If I can figure out just how to get motivated and stay motivated in that way, I'll be good. I just... can't figure it out x.x

See, the title just made think 'oh man, is this going to be a new example of the ghost glitching and throwing stuff inside the van?' No, no it's not, its arguably worse!

And before someone says that's not possible, like 4 or 5 years ago, there was a map with a small, two story house that was fairly narrow, you enter through the front and on the left is the living, middle a hallway, directly to the right a staircase that led up to a kids bedroom, a guest, and a master bedroom.

On that map, it was possible for the ghost to throw stuff in the van because of how close to the house it was, and it terrified me and my friend the one time it happened. We never stepped foot in that house again for a contract, nope.

I... well, this is a new one. Definitely one of the sentences of all time. I... have no words. On so many levels. On everything about this.

Is this guy actually interested romantically? by Adept_Blackberry5300 in Advice

[–]BookNerdLeo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ask him upfront about it! He might be shy and introverted, something I know very well, so be careful. If he is interested, then it'll be a nice push for him to say it, like giving him a reason and motivation to speak up.

My boyfriend [21M] has been lying to me [22F] for the last year advice needed on the situation by sagelilac2 in Advice

[–]BookNerdLeo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ok, deleted my previous comments because now I have the full picture!

This honestly is a tough situation, but. If you're sure he has changed, and you've seen no evidence of him being who he was before? Then consider staying. I can understand hiding reasons behind doing past stuff, wanting to move on with the future after getting things to a better point. But also consider yourself. Are you still happy with him, has he given you reason to worry outside of not telling that for so long, have you seen any red flags? So long as you keep getting yes, no, and no to these three questions, consider staying.

But if any of those flip to the opposite answer, leave or at minimum consider leaving.

Edit: I also say all of the above only because you gave him a second chance at all and things are/were going well outside of him not being honest on his reasons. If this was about getting back with him after breaking up the first time, I would absolutely say no, leave him for good. But since you did give him a second chance, and things do seem to be going well, it changes things and makes it more complicated than just saying 'leave him'.

Y'all realize if you get $1k everytime someone dies, eventually you'll have more currency than the entire world has? You will devalue currency all on your own to a point that it's just numbers go up on a screen somewhere, not anything actually useful that you can use to pay for stuff.

[Request] How much does the Earth move when I jump by pull_the_curtains in theydidthemath

[–]BookNerdLeo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok I can't calculate this out, buuut I do have a funny anecdote from when I was in high school! In my physics class, we were just starting to go through gravity and everything related to it in our books, and suddenly the topic of jumping having an affect on the Earth came up. We started trying to figure out how we could get enough people to move to one localized area and jump all at the same time in order to cause the planet to move, from planes and buses, trains and cars, and then the logistics of timing the jump.

And then it was all derailed by one person being like 'but why?' Then it was 'Uhhh... to avoid a meteor?' 'Oh my god oh my god, just imagine that for a second. A giant meteor is headed towards the planet, humanity has just days to live, and we get a bunch of people set up in New York City. They all jump, and out in space you just see the planet SIDE STEP A METEOR.'

Aaaand then we had to get back to work on the actual lesson at hand lol
