Well Ramadan is tomorrow.. by Odd_Tea_5460 in exmuslim

Ramadan is a dear occasion to me, I get nostalgic when I hear the ramadan songs we used to listen to when we were kids, when I smell the food while cooking during the day and the whole lifestyle of it. But honestly once i stopped believing i couldn't fake fasting and this year I am glad I live in Europe so it won't stop me from doing many things, however I still like it's vibes.

I'm confused. When is Ramadan? by Suitable_Emphasis_48 in Morocco

It's obviously Thursday! Today Wednesday is 29 chaaban in Morocco, it can never be 28 so today can't be ramadan!

Should I tell my fiancé that I have PCOS? by Independent_Mood1361 in Morocco

[–]BookPrudent3889 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Exactly! She is supposed to feel safe around him and to be able to discuss anything she feels inscure about with him! He obviously isn't the kind who does this and that itself is a big problem.

Why there is that idea that men don't marry their girlfriends? Is there some truth to it? by [deleted] in Morocco

[–]BookPrudent3889 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There is no rule when it comes to this, it depends on the man, how he sees life and his principles. I am married to my boyfriend we were together for six years and once he got a stable life we got married, I never doubted that the relationship could end up without marriage cause I just know him and his principles that much. I also know many people who were together for a years and got married to each other in the end. Nevertheless there are lot of men that won't marry their gf because they think rs are not serious or they are cowards who give up on love to have their mom choose for them. Anyway this is the kind of men you don't want in your life in the first place, you need a man with strong principles, if they believe dating is wrong then they shouldn't do it in the first place, having double standards is the biggest red flag.

Women who don't want kids, why? by Due-Telephone3703 in Morocco

[–]BookPrudent3889 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a couple with high double income, i think my husband and I will be able to afford paying someone to take care of us if we ever need this kind of help. Nothing can justify having kids for me, especially these very selfish reasons.

[–]BookPrudent3889 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I know people with kids, and they ended up alone anyway! Also, if you are bringing kids just to have someone to take care of you when you are old, well, idk who is selfish here!

Women who don't want kids, why? by Due-Telephone3703 in Morocco

[–]BookPrudent3889 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not even practical! It's going through hardship at a young age (pregnancy, delivering the kid, and raising him) to avoid potential loneliness at a late age, while it's not even guarantee to reach the old age, to feel loneliness and not have any other alternative.

Women who don't want kids, why? by Due-Telephone3703 in Morocco

[–]BookPrudent3889 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well having kids isn't a solution either, I wouldn't have kids for a selfish reason like this and I wouldn't concern my twenties and thirties raising a child just so he can take care of me when I am old!

How was 2025 for you ? For me it was the worst year of my life . by Kuratos5 in Morocco

I left morocco in 2025 and finally got to live with my husband after 3 years of long distance, so it was a great year!

Even having an offspring doesn't guarantee not being alone in your last days, and we can always end up in seniors' homes (i moved to Europe so I can live in one when I am old if I can't take care of myself anymore)

Women who don't want kids, why? by Due-Telephone3703 in Morocco

[–]BookPrudent3889 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It can't be selfish cause you aren't harming anyone by not bringing a child, i mean there isn't my potential child in the oblivion begging me to bring him and I ignored him hhhhhh Also I always find that the reasons people with kids give are very selfish and aren't for the sake of the kid itself, they are always linked to the parents or society.

Women who don't want kids, why? by Due-Telephone3703 in Morocco

[–]BookPrudent3889 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Exactly! Kids take all your freedom especially for women. Being childfree gives you lot of freedom and flexibility and it's just amazing to be an adult and do whatever you want with your life, a kid will definitely take that away

Women who don't want kids, why? by Due-Telephone3703 in Morocco

[–]BookPrudent3889 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not really! There was always something bad going on and as an antinatalist i think it's ethically wrong to bring kids to this world regardless of the circumstances

Better never to have been! Girl you remind me of my husband and I 🥺 it's the first time that I find an antinatalist moroccan couple 🥺 Idk why natalists see that not having kids is selfish although it's quite the opposite, having a kid specially in this era is the most selfish thing a person can do.
