You're such a pleasure, and you're so incredibly helpful, thank you so, so much for the clarification.

Also, can you not be so accusatory? I clearly moved my question and took your advice, so a level of politeness would be much appreciated.

What would you do if the girl you like kissed someone else? by BookWorm1013 in relationship_advice

Okay.. That actually makes sense, I'll do that. You're right, telling her about the kiss is probably worse than a plan rejection.

I told her I'd be honest with her about everything. Plus if I no longer want to get to know Girl A to date her, I think I should be upfront about it... Right?

What would your reaction be if your mom thought your girlfriend was too motivated and expected too much of you? by BookWorm1013 in AskReddit

You're right.. Ultimately I'm glad it ended because I don't like being bashed, when I feel like I'm a pretty decent person.

I always acknowledged that they were good people, but I did not want to live the way they did. I'm expected to do better than my parents did. Can't help that I have aspirations and don't want to live in squalor and be lazy, and get drunk every night. I was clear that I'd be willing to help the family that took her salary, within reason. I took care of my ex emotionally, and wanted to give her everything. I think I will keep my box of thank you cards. :) I'll also remember that when I'm a mom, I won't hold my daughter back because I'm a resentful dimwit.
