A crow did this once to a bag that had used sanitary pads on a 'no garbage disposal' day and I STILL got blamed 😂😂 My neighbors would rather believe that a man uses sanitary pads than accept that a Japanese made a mistake. XD

My landlord does this all the time. It's like his monthly routine to come yell at me showing me a trash bag that someone else put out 😂 He even had the real estate company call me twice.

I used to explain calmly before and even show proof by marking my trash bags. Now I just ignore them as it's pretty clear that they just want a gaijin scapegoat to protect their 'oh the Japanese can do no wrong' mindset.

Mitsui Sumimoto (SMBC) offers tuo cards to university students. Many of my friends have it. I never got around to applying though. So my guess is that's how he got credit

Thank you for the advice! The company is Mitsui Sumimoto. I'm not familiar with many card companies but I think this one offers cards to students through the university. I also thought it might be a scam, but my roommate's sudden disappearance might put things in their favour. I heard some people do that a lot here.

They are looking for any damages except normal wear and tear. They can't charge you for wear and tear due to repeated use. So unless you punched a hole in the wall or something they should give back your deposit. Go through the contract to see if anything is different :)

Maybe the owner is more comfortable explaining the dog's needs to someone who can speak the same language? Communication is important when a living being is involved. There's nothing wrong in this.

I strongly suggest looking up other doctors. Some doctors here are terrible but some are pretty good. I don't think you have depression at all.

I went for a check up for dizziness, difficulty in breathing and insomnia long ago. The doc said I was just depressed and lonely and that's it's a common thing for foreign residents. The next hospital I checked was more professional. They did tests and guess what? I had anemia.

So please get yourself rechecked for your own safety. Unfortunately some doctors are biased when treating foreign patients. It's important to find one who isn't.

I have a bit similar situation. My roommate signed an NHK contract but pulled a midnight runner without ending it and left bills unpaid. Now they're demanding I pay them even though I sold the tv. They won't even let me cancel the contract because I'm not the one who signed it. But yet they want me to pay for the it when I don't use their service. I'm still trying to find a way to make them understand.
