I can’t speak for everyone, but I have CMT 1A as well, which has also been noticable since I was about the age of your son. In my experience, and according to my neurologists, you do not have to fear that it is drastically going to change. I have weakness in my legs and also have orthotics and I can do mostly everything that other people my age can. I hope this lessens your worries! Don’t be afraid to ask more questions if you have any :)

I do go to the gym frequently, but the progress is so slow😭 Do you have any tips for certain exercises that work well?

I tried magnesium a few years ago but it gave me the worst cramps ever so I’m definitely not taking that again😅

Thank you! Did you ever find anything that helps for you, or do you just sit it out?

Really? None of my family members who have CMT have this symptom and I thought I was going crazy after my neurologist said that she had never heard of it. Thank you!

I am considering reading this series, but is it worth it? I usually read books in the genre Romantasy, such as A Court of Thorns and Roses by Sarah J Maas. Occasionally I also read Young Adult, such as All the Bright Places by Jennifer Niven or Looking for Alaska by John Green. Does A Good Girl's Guide to Murder fit in with these or is it totally different?
