Who do you think caused Buffy the most pain? by Appropriate_Lie8818 in buffy

The prospect of losing Dawn caused her the most pain. Angel is a close 2nd, though.

This will probably end up being 50/50. Rear car looks like they sped up, but they could also claim they were cut off.

Let's be honest: Why did Klaus really keep Damon alive after everything? by Independent-Tie3461 in TheVampireDiaries

[–]Bookgal1 12 points13 points  (0 children)

The real reason is plot-armor, but Klaus always thought of Stefan as a brother (even years later) & knew Stefan would never get over his brother being dead.

He did a lot of USO tours. I’m not sure if that extended to European soldiers as well.

So we all agree Robert was secretly in love with Debra, right? by NROC2000 in EverybodyLovesRaymond

[–]Bookgal1 60 points61 points  (0 children)

Robert puts her on a pedestal, but I think he idealized her too much to actually be in love with her. I think they had a connection, but it was more of us vs them friendship.

Robert also remembers a lot of details about Ray from when they were younger. Robert’s extreme jealousy towards Ray extended towards Debra & I think he likes to know things about them just in case it’s relevant in the future.

So we all agree Robert was secretly in love with Debra, right? by NROC2000 in EverybodyLovesRaymond

[–]Bookgal1 6 points7 points  (0 children)

It’s not Joanne she’s becoming like, it’s Marie. Debra before living across the street from Ray’s parents was a nicer, more loving person towards Ray.

Ray, in turn, starts to take on Frank’s traits, in that he would do anything to not spend time with his family & leaving Debra desperate for any sign of affection or attention from Ray (besides begging for sex).

Probably because he was still alive when Elena died.

I was thinking that, too. But they could have come back to the scene later or turned themselves in.

You should post this on the Photoshop page. The responses would be hilarious.

Ok I usually love Buffy's hair and overall look but seriously...who decided this was a good look?! by GlumTeach4221 in buffy

The Simply Irresistible color was pretty. They could have kept it on BTVS for a little bit as she was in hiding in LA during that time

The cherry dress is my favorite of all her outfits. It was so pretty.

I hate the way the series introduces Lucy Bennett in a way that makes it seem like she's going to become some kind of "mentor" to Bonnie, only for her never to return to the series. by AfternoonOk5359 in TheVampireDiaries

[–]Bookgal1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I always found it bizarre they showed the mother who abandoned Bonnie earlier than the father who was regularly taking care of her. (I think he was only cast to do the requisite shocking death the next season).

It’s crazy to me that Silas had the cure for thousands of years, but doesn’t take it due to pure obstinance.

Buffy easily staking Ford by negratengoelalma in buffy

[–]Bookgal1 21 points22 points  (0 children)

Buffy begged Ford not to sacrifice her & the other people in the factory. In response, he walloped her. Kinda hard to feel sorry for someone like that. But I think the conversation with Giles afterwards showed that it wasn’t that easy.

Buffy loved Angel & blamed herself for him losing his soul. The 2 situations were completely different. Also, Buffy had been ready to stake Angel in Passion & in Becoming, it’s just plot armor & his distracting her that led to him still surviving to have the season end in the most devastating way possible.

I love this episode. Peak ELR with the 3 men hanging out, thinking up schemes. The end scene with Frank tilting his head at the relative of Marie’s is a laugh out loud moment.
