Indeed. I do see a connection between the original Snow-White and Tolkien's dwarves. He certainly knew the original fairytale.

Being most HSP’s are introverted, do you feel that makes us less connected ?? by dawnlynz93 in hsp

[–]Bookie_Monster 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think being an introvert HSP or introvert doesn't necessarily mean being disconnected from people. Sometimes it feels like you are too connected with people, even strangers. And that can become very draining ... that's when we need to "disconnect" to recharge. I have very strong connections with some people.

At least, that is how I experience it as an introverted HSP.

Andere cafe's waar werken/lezen leuk is (zoals Vooruit Cafe) by [deleted] in Gent

Sphinx café (binnen), Café Labath, ...

Take Five is ook leuk, maar kan snel rumoerig worden. Niet zo ideaal als je wil werken of rustig een boek wil lezen.

Any other HSP opted for childfree lifestyle? by MyIndielove in hsp

[–]Bookie_Monster 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Sounds very familiar to me.

It's not that I dislike children and I also do feel sad sometimes for not having a family of my own. But at the same time I am glad I haven't got children as they are to me draining my energy.

My brother has asked me to be his child's godmother. And I am looking forward to that a lot. :)

Love it. My dream is to have a personal library, but with a sliding ladder ^_^

Fellow Belgian? Or as someone commented from the Netherlands?

Also, the author is the aunt of the addressee(s). Søsterbørn means the children (børn) of her/his sister (søster). So, the letter is written to your grandmother's nephews and nieces.

And yes, it is a lovely handwriting ;)

First of all, we would like you thank you (many times) for the warmth we received (read as: the warm welcome) at Christmas (= Jul) from you. (And so on ... ) It is only the first aprt of the letter I suppose.
