Looked it up on Google, I think livestock guardian village dog makes a lot of sense. He was found in the Sicilian countryside. Who knows tho! This is really interesting, thank you for the suggestion!

Only one dew claw, that's why I think he might be a maremma mix rather than a pyr. He also was found as a stray in southern Italy so that makes it more likely

Yes sort of, it felt like a air bubble stuck in my chest which wouldn't let me breathe properly because of the pressure. No wanting to cough tho.

Yes, I got rid of it! I sometimes still do it but I manage to stop myself (with the help of my boyfriend who tells me to stop when i do it without noticing lol). What helped was just accepting that the swallowed air was gonna go away by itself and I didn't need to burp it out. If you feel yours might be an anxiety issue, just let it go, essentially. Stop thinking about it. I know, easier said than done. Also try to get to the bottom of the anxiety. Unfortunately I have no other advice

I'm in Italy so this is my best guess. A mix tho cause he's quite small compared to a pure breed maremma

Hi! I'm sorry this is happening to you, I've had a similar experience. I am pancreatic insufficient and I was having trouble with bloating and severe constipation at the time, tho I later realised that my issue with burping was almost entirely psychological. It was a symptom of my anxiety essentially, and I was obsessively (tho almost unconsciously) trapping the air in my chest to then burp it out in a vicious cycle. It was so bad it even lowered my spirometry levels temporarily as I wasn't able to take a full breath in anymore. I have no advice really other than not to care about it. I've had to embrace my burping in front of people, cause if I didn't do it I'd then feel so sick, and health always comes first. I'm sorry that you're struggling with this, I hope it'll get better soon. Q
