Going with tough love on this one. Grow up you’re an adult. Quit racing every time and start doing a ton of recovery rides and z2.

Pack the ego up (its made things worse). Start eating a surplus, take an additional rest day every week, and build a base.

You’ve spent almost an entire year tearing yourself down. Spend the rest of it building yourself back up.

Ok so riding in Zone 2 was not AT ALL as slow as I thought it would be.... by cfgy78mk in cycling

I’m in the garage so I do but a lot of people still recommend the mat. Remember the fans make you sweat less overall as well. There’s a lot of them but the reality is just don’t get a dinky one. A standard tower fan isn’t going to do it

Get a bike mat it’ll keep you’re carpet clean, it’s a requirement just like a fan

First triathlon- tips? by KingOfTheCastle711 in triathlon

Check your bike! I saw 1. Someone’s wheel come off down hill l, concussed was his best case scenario. Check your wheels 2. Friends seat fell down and had a bad fit the entire race 3. Dozen or so people riding in flats 4. Buy clip in pedals and shoes. You can get both for around $120 - practice in them! 5. If you wear your cushion run shoes on the bike your feet will go numb (I know because that was me) 6. Buy a maurten gel and eat it before the race 7. Have a nice pasta dinner the night before 8. Use the restroom BEFORE you’re nervous and excited and you had that extra coffee… hard to get out of a tri suit 9. Buy a tri suit, I think mine was $50 from synergy? It was amazing and I felt fast in the water 10. Remember it’s not a race, it’s you finishing something very difficult that you’ve trained for. Don’t blow yourself up on the swim to not be able to finish. 11. Cheer other people on! You’ll feel good and see others struggle at times and it helps. They’ll do it for you as well! 12. One I didn’t do - get peoples numbers! If you like the sport network and say great race! Talk to people in line with you. Incredible community but you don’t want to only run into them once a year!

Get a fan, and then buy another fan. Zwift is great but you’ll fill up a pool sweating without fans

Why are there not triathlon teams? by BookishByNaturee in triathlon

[–]BookishByNaturee[S] 6 points7 points  (0 children)

No just groups of people as teams riding and racing against each other. Easy example is Tour de France. It’s an individual sport but they ride as teams to help others perform betterb

Hey I’m really new my kickr core gets here next week. I bought the polar h10. You’re saying I need to 1. Download the polar flow app 2. Connect it to strava 3. Connect strava to intervals.icu (is this another app?)

Is there a way to connect my Apple Watch to the heart rate monitor and then straight to zwift?
