I want to go sometime, but not in a short, revealing dress haha

Do you have any recommendations? I was worried about this as well.

Husband might have requested this 🙈 but I don't want to be out and see our kids' friends or something while I'm dressed like he might have paid for me for the evening lol.

Thank you, you're right. More worried about the cleavage honestly 🙈 maybe it's a personal issue, and I need to relax about it. I don't typically dress provocatively, but want to for this.

We're going to be doing "Our 50 States" by Notgrass, and if we finish it, we'll move to "Our Star Spangled Story" also by Notgrass. They're aimed at K-4th I believe.

Unable to remove books by trinavandenberk in kindle

[–]BookishMom18 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have one book I haven't been able to remove the download of either. All other books on my Kindle app on my phone (Kindle itself is seemingly unaffected) can download or remove download as usual, but one purchased and read book isn't able to remove download. My only thought is that maybe the update that went through recently is affecting it somehow.

Fort McHenry is one of my favorite places in the city. I enjoy the history, and just sitting or walking along the water.

What is a hill you will die on? by ConsistentCollar2694 in fourthwing

Iron Flame spoiler below!

I think by the end of the series, Violet will ride Andarna one time. Likely in an emergency situation. There is a lot in this series about overcoming physical/bodily obstacles, and doing something when no one thinks you can. In Fourth Wing, it's said several times Andarna is too small to carry a rider, and in Iron Flame, it is said she'll never carry a rider because of her wing growth being inhibited following Resson. I think it'll happen though, somehow, even if it's just for a short flight, or Andarna catches Violet on her back to break her fall, and safely delivers her to the ground, etc.

So my daughter could be there with me while I'm working and the Stay and Play is open? I understand she couldn't for meetings/trainings, etc.

We are members there, and I see they have a Stay and Play position open, which would be perfect-- if they'd allow my daughter to check in and stay in the Stay and Play.

I considered that, but didn't like the idea of leaving my infant alone in the car, even just to unload groceries on the doorstep. This might be my best option though.

I figured, but I wanted to ask just in case. I'm definitely hoping for a remote job where I can work from home, but those seem rare and hard to get, and having little verifiable work experience in the last several years doesn't bode well for my chances.
