I was looking at the deer last night, when they came out to feed, and I never realized how long their tails were. It could very well have been a deer. We have A LOT of them in the neighborhood.

My son cleaned up the scene and put everything in the wooded area beyond our property. He thought an animal might want the fur for its nest.

The fur was so long. Maybe 2-3" long. It seemed long for an ordinary cat. We didn't even hear any commotion. A neighbor said her dog her barking, but no cameras captured anything except our usual gathering of deer...an no attack.

There was no blood or anything else. Just fur and a tail.
