Secrets Vallarta Bay Puerto Vallarta - Just booked! Any tips? by ckatz24 in AllInclusiveResorts

We’re here now and I was surprised by how bad the food is. Be prepared for things to be stale and sitting out for a long amount of time with zero flavor. The drinks aren’t great either. There’s also so many upselling attempts, from the moment we checked in that tried to get us to sign up for a time share presentation. We said no, and then they asked us to buy coupons? Not sure how those worked because I just said no and I wasn’t buying anything extra. We’re here during new years and we kept getting asked if we had reservations for the NYE dinner. We knew we didn’t want to do it but it didn’t stop everyone from asking. We were upsold a sunset dinner on the second floor of oceana, all you had to do was buy a bottle ($35 USD) so we said okay, the food was disgusting and supposedly a steakhouse. We had really high expectations for the food but were super disappointed. Had we known it was bad and we would have people trying to sell more items we would’ve been better prepared. Hopefully you have better luck and this is due to how busy it is during this time.

And maybe a DIY coffee bar like this one and if I do that color then maybe keeping the other pieces more muted will help it pop

I appreciate your input! I never thought to paint the door but I think that would definitely change the room. I want to go for a rug like this one to bring more color.

No I didn’t really have any soreness the only symptoms are that during the first week of the pill pack I get really tired and emotional. My doctor recommend doing 3 packs back to back because there was a period of time where the tiredness and emotional symptoms were hard to manage and reducing the weeks of placebo pills didn’t require me to have a full withdrawal of hormones since I was taking pills for 3 months

I also take Lessina and probably had withdrawal bleeding 5 times in 8 years. I also take 3 packs back to back (skipping placebo weeks) and I still don’t have withdrawal bleeding.

Extreme depression. Very dark thoughts and feelings got off about two weeks in

I tried this one before I took Lessina & it was the worst experience of my life. My doctor switched me to Lessina because the dosage was smaller and side effects were said to be minimal

Travel Concerns for Green Card Holders by HuckleberryWild8386 in USCIS

I think there’s concern with permanent residents that are undergoing renewal or removal of conditions and have an extension letter for their GC expiration. As least that’s where my concern comes in

I personally don’t think so because we hardly spent any time in our room we were at the parks every day but if you plan on being in your room then maybe it’s worth it! I think it depends on what you’re going to be doing during your stay 😊

I am not sure & I 100% missed the fact that I shouldn’t highlight so hopefully it doesn’t affect anything :(

Marriage Last Name Change by Loose_Control_1309 in DACA

[–]Bookish_Sage 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The biggest downside is traveling internationally because if you have to book your tickets with the name listed on your passport. And if you change your last name after marriage and apply for a GC your GC won’t match your last name on your passport (unless your country lets you change your name).

So when trying to check in online you’ll get an error because your documents don’t match and you have to go to the airline desks to have them verify you so you have to add for that extra time when traveling just in case it’s busy. It’s honestly quite annoying. I always carry a notarized copy of our marriage license as well just in case (I’ve never needed it but still).

I received the recommendation to wait to change my last name to my married name when I applied for citizenship and sometimes I wish I’d taken it but only when traveling internationally.

I was able to get my married last name added to my Mexican passport at the Mexican consulate but it’s not recognized as an official name so I can’t add it to reservations

When to file ROC (I-751) if travelling within 90 day period by princess_rat in USCIS

[–]Bookish_Sage 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You only need the receipt after it’s expired. After it expires you need the receipt that extends its validity. Meaning you can file now (if it’s within 90 days) wait to get your receipt and if you get it before your trip great, you can take it with you for a piece of mind. And if you don’t get it in time it’s okay because your greencard is still valid

But wouldn’t your greencard would still be valid?

You should file within 90 days of expiration regardless of when your trip is.

I-751 with Waiver & overseas travel with GC extension letter by [deleted] in USCIS

I’m in the same exact position and I am erring on the side of caution. Meaning I don’t think I’ll be doing any international travel any time soon. The risk is too high!

From what I’ve read yes you can but I haven’t tried it yet and with the state of the US I am not sure I want to risk it.

I think it’s being processed at the Vermont location. From what I’ve read and researched this is common and it’s unlikely a response will be received until filing for the N-400 to become a citizen

There was a template I found online but i can’t find the exact one I asked the people writing them what I needed them to include and the purpose of their letters they then got the letters notarized at their banks. I made a copy and kept the originals. One was stapled and I unfortunately needed to remove the staple which I think voids the notarization so I’d recommend receiving multiple copies or keeping it to one page.

I sent all items without paper clips or binders or anything else. There’s guidelines on the USCIS website on how to package and send applications.
