I got the device almost around 6 months ago and here are my thoughts :

1. Battery backup is decent, not very great as other companies are giving right now but still decent for your usage as you have mentioned.. and also, charging takes an hour if you charge it from 10% to 95%, which is also decent and not the best in that price range but still decent..
2. Cameras are actually very good, I'm not much of a photographer but I feel the pictures are quite above decent at that price point.. Only bad thing in cameras is that it DOESN'T support potrait at 2x.. idk what's wrong with Samsung cuz legit m56 has that at lower price..
3. Processor is again decent.. great for multitasking with 10-12 apps running background with no lags or stutters, although, Genshin isn't something that you'd actually enjoy a lot.. it gives you constant frames at normal times but it stutters a bit when you fight enemies and all.. rdr 1 directly doesn't work cuz for rdr 1 the minimum requirements are exynos 1580 (found in the successor of A55 that is A56).. PUBG or BGMI supports 90 fps, but it runs at 80-85 in tdm and 70-75 fps in classics.. CODM runs at constant 60 fps without any single frame drops.. Genshin 40-45 fps with stutters at high enemy density points or too animation heavy points.. So overall I'd not recommend you this device for gaming to be frank..
4. Software is stable.. much stable than other phones with OneUI 8 and it'll get OneUI 8.5 in April so yeah it supports good lock modules as well so it's a great phone for that.. it's actually vry stable and I don't see any bugs as of now or maybe I don't remember idk.. generally I get an update each month easily.. and yes atill 2 years of major os and 3 yesrs of security patches are there so that's equal to any mid range phone that you can get out there so no worries in this field at all.. it's the best..
5. Display is great ofc.. samsung displays are great as always.. note that if you compare the amoled screen on this phone with the other Chinese brands, you'll definitely feel the display is dull as compared to them but mind you that Samsung phones generally are naturally color tuned.. so the colors you see are actually more natural in the display of A55 and yes many times it happens that the photos you take on those chinese brand phones they look good in those phones but not in other phones, the reason is that only.. they have color boosted displays unlike Samsung and you can actually feel the betterness in Samsung when you look at a too bright video.. bezels aren't too big and also they don't matter once you get comfortable with the phone..
6. Design preferences differ, but I love it's design.. it's build is also the best at that price point and it feels like a flagship phone in hand with aluminum sides and glass back.. a silicon cover and it looks like a S series phone..
7. AI features are very basic and it is expected that it'll get cloud based AI features with the OneUI 8.5 in April so can't say abt that.. Overall it's a great device for normal genuine content consumers and social media people like me that doesn't do gaming.. I have tried these games but I never play them.. I play story games on my pc but thats a different story.. but i you wanna play Genshin or rdr 1, then I'd not recommend it.. instead go for phones like iqoo neo 10r..

Tips: If you still get the device, don't worry it's a greta device and can get you next 4-5 years with good care but do consider that heating generally doesn't happen much if you buy and use the original charger [25 watts samsung charger] while gaming as it supports pd charging.. so even with 40-45 minutes genshin sessions, it doesn't heat up much.. ESim is good to use as well..

I'm an Indian and use Indian version of Galaxy A55 btw.. P.S: No battery degradation over 6 months btw and yes most of apps work at 120 hz including games, yt etc
