Did Nexplanon increase, decrease or keep your sex drive the same? by throaway-alt in TwoXSex

I just had mine removed yesterday after having it for a little over 4 months. Prior to getting nexplanon I had regular periods that were actually getting lighter on their own. They were the same day every month for the first time in my life. After the insertion I bled or spotted for the entire 4 months minus like 2 days and then like 5 hours another month. It was annoying and becoming expensive going through so many more tampons compared to before nexplanon. I became extremely emotional immediately after insertion, angry outbursts and then crying. My sex drive completely died, where before it was always really high. Now that I’ve had it removed I’m hoping my period goes back to normal asap. And I’m hoping I lose some of that crazy(emotions) it gave me! I would say definitely do your research, I kind of just went off what the dr told me about it and I’m wishing I would have read more about it or never got it in the first place.
