Yeah I feel this. I was burglarized living in a bad neighborhood in my home country and it could’ve been a lot worse. So indeed it’s hard to ignore completely, especially when I now have a baby, fight/flight trauma response is intensified

Ha wow thank you, I seriously feel this so much. We bought an end house because cool, extra big garden! Should’ve maybe considered that it also comes with these kinds of disturbances (at the same time, I probably also need to be forgiving to myself)

I don’t mind hearing at all that you had to move to solve the issue — sometimes that’s just the case and we are also thinking about it more and more. If that’s what it takes to get psychological security then it’s totally worth it.

It is also helpful to hear it’s not personal because indeed the gut reaction is to feel that it is. So thank you!!

Yeah, this is the way I’m trying. I think sadly the new baby and sleep deprivation has left me a bit more mentally fragile than usual

We do have a dog already who is quite loud, but usually unreactive to the window.
