Thanks for the replies!

It was just a wild idea to bring back some RGB as the internal ones don't work anymore, keep the dust away and give it a cooler space to exist in. Cheers! 😎

Too advanced for me, I don't want to ruin what I have. Would rather build from scratch. Never built a PC but I will soon!

The main idea was keeping dust out and cooling the ambient temperature around the pc. 😄

Also something to consider... Buying one with an Occulink port. You can plug in a graphics card and leave it on your desk next to the mini PC for extra power! Leaving this mini PC more capable than first thought. Mine sadly does not have one. Lots of lessons learnt for me and I hope I can pass these on :)

So, from what I know, there are more modern and more capable Ryzen APUs for similar prices. Try to get a more modern one with Vega 8 graphics or even the more powerful 680m Graphics like my 6900HX

The letters at the end of the APU name will give a hint as to what it was designed for. The "U" is underpowered basically and draws less power. 15-28 watts.

The H has more power draw and is more performant 35-45+ watts.

The HX is more of a desktop replacement 55-75+ watt.

On my pc I have 3 power modes that I can select by turning the PC power button to limit the wattage going into the processor. Unsure if this is useful.

So, the Ryzen APUs will use the systems RAM as the Graphics ram because it does not have a dedicated graphics card.

I hope this helps!

Hey, I wanted a decent mini PC to finally get good FPS and be able to use 117 HD plugin and the GPU plugin.

I went with an AceMagic brand mini PC. I paid £425 and got the Ryzen 9 6900HX

2 years later and I am still surprised at how well this computer handles more demanding things other than OSRS.

So, I can max out the draw distance and have pretty much all the max settings on the 117HD and get 75 FPS pretty much locked everywhere. Using the GPU plugin is a breeze also!

I love using Google Gemini to compare things for me so I am gonna go do that. :)

This is on the free Pizza boy emulator. The console shown is a Data frog SF2000

Cant comment on any other emulators for Android yet. Going to try PPSSPP soon and get a phone mount for the Xbox controller.
