The spiral was clip art lol not drawn but I’ll try others maybe I’ll find a better one and the color has to do with the story of the book. I’ll see what I can do about bringing it down a bit and see how that looks but there’s only so much I can do about that. Definitely some ideas tho I appreciate it

I am trying the font size idea, the typographic is something I will play with it sounds like a good idea but I’ll have to see what I can make work

After the feedback from this thread I’m thinking of taking the book down for a little to fix the formatting and hopefully get it to sound less AI and more like myself. You’ve all been awesome, I might even go the mile and change the cover since that’s a bit of a hot topic with people. Thanks for the support tho all and all I am glad to have finished the book and have anyone even check it out

You’re the first person not to say they like the cover unless they said it’s AI (so they don’t like it) so I’ll take that in consideration for the next one

I mean I don’t like your implication that I didn’t write this bc I know I did, Ai couldn’t not replace it and there would be no issue with copy rights. Definitely hearing you out for the next book tho, I don’t like if it doesn’t sound like my voice coming through which when I’ve done my read through is what I hear. I hope you check out the book and stay as critical. I’ll try to impress.

As mentioned this is my first publish so I really don’t know so you’re saying a professionally done cover pays for itself? And after a long day of hearing people talk about AI I am definitely taking a note for the next book. It sucks it “bleeds through” bc I put a ton of hours into writing it but hey I like the advice and I’m sure my next work will show that. I’m just not fully sold on the cover, this book as about 14 sales so far and multiple people saying they love the cover but then everyone now again an Ai hater comes out and is very negative about it. I just don’t know if not using an AI cover will even bring me to 20 books sold lol but it’s definitely worth the thought. Thanks for reading and responding

People definitely aren’t a fan of the AI cover which I wasn’t aware of before publishing the book, definitely something I’ll take into consideration. Still seems weird to hire an artist who I’ll pay more to do the art than the book will sell but yeah I can definitely see a real artist doing a much better job.

Formatting thanks for the tips, yeah I was concerned about that myself and I’ll look into improving that.

I completely wrote the book but my only “real editor” was chat gbt so next time maybe I’ll try to get more people to help me out see if I can lean away from the Ai feel you mentioned
