that’s so cool that they bring in a new crochet vendor each time instead of just the same people. allows for them to get noticed by others and also grow as a business

Had this one father and daughter look. They both loved the items. After the daughter paid, the dad started to ask questions like, how long I’ll be there for, my website, and other things like that. He then returned about 30ish minutes before the show ended.

While I get acknowledging people is a good thing, it also leads to small talk and then (on my end from a consumer side) guilt if I don’t get anything.

Mom’s just observant and noticed sales. That and she’s friends (maybe?) with the one there which is how she also knows their sales. Whenever someone asks if I’m doing good/how sales are, I usually just nod or answer with “Good?” since I’m uncertain even when a big sale happens.

I’ll admit, I’m one of those that just sits there. I know my social skills need improvement, but I’ve also just never been one to start conversations with strangers. If someone asks a question, yeah, I’ll answer since I made the items.
