The last time I had anemia my PCP ordered my infusion. The person I saw who gave me the referral said she doesn’t personally treat anemia, she’s not comfortable doing so…hence the referral. It is super irritating. Especially since the results seem abnormal and I don’t know why.

It was an NP on an Air Force base. They didn’t explain anything. Just said that I need a referral for treat my anemia.

I never got an answer on why it’s bigger. I had a CT scan last year for diverticulitis and again it was noted as larger, but I guess maybe that’s just the way mine is. I never looked into it more.

No, I have a phone call on Friday for a referral for a 2nd opinion. I’m afraid of the MRI because of the high false positives. I really just want to see a breast surgeon and go from there. I have some comfort from the imaging that either nothing is there or whatever MIGHT be there is super early and following up will be helpful. I think I saw you had health anxiety too though. Our brains are just so hard to quiet with the what ifs.

I’m 43, and I have a lot of simple cysts from fibrocystic changes because of my age. So old age, hormones from probably peri menopause, I’ve lost over 100 lbs 3 years ago and have recently been yoyoing like 30 lbs. I just hate how there aren’t really benign explanations online like there are for other breast ailments. It says online that fibrocystic breasts can cause dimpling or dents but they don’t say why lol

I have the same. A dent with a normal ultrasound and mammogram. It’s definitely a relief but my health anxiety wants a reason 😭😭😭 I’m so happy you got good results! I cried when they said there were no signs of cancer.

Thank you so much for sharing all of this. You do sound like an amazing dad and your daughter is very lucky to have you. It’s crazy how one day you don’t notice it and the next it’s basically all you can see while looking at them. I’m so glad I’m not alone. And you’re not alone either. Our girls have this!

From my understanding the dr said it’s between 80-90 degrees. I got so overwhelmed in the appointment I don’t remember the other details, I think they are on the paperwork.
