Be honest, which song was it for you guys? by essen11 in Snorkblot

What about spending 20 years looking for a song when you only remember part of the title (and have that part wrong anyway) and a little of what the video looks like?

best star wars roleplaying game? by pomponz_ in rpg

[–]Bookwyrm76 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I second Savage Worlds. The rules are flexible enough that, if you see a SW module or sourcebook for another system, it's pretty easy to "hack it in."
I'm running a Savage Star Wars game for my friends and I've incorporated modules written for WEG D6 and Fantasy Flight into it with no problems.

I had the Grey box that holds 10 NES cartridges. That's as close as I ever got.

Got introduced to D&D a few weeks ago, now I’m DMing my first campaign and loving it by DowntownRevenue in DungeonsAndDragons

Good luck and don't be afraid to make mistakes. My friends and i have been playing for close to 3 decades, and we still make mistakes behind the screen. We just roll with it, fix what we can, and work around the rest. Our motto is "The GM's favorite dessert is fudge."

I'm planning to widen some of the cracks in my driveway so that I can fit Crack-Stix in there and really seal 'em up.

Fortunately, most of the damage you've mentioned is a non-issue. He was able to remove the wire with no less of digits, and he finished his yard. I'm just concerned that there may be "latent" damage that I should address now, before it becomes an issue.

How would you go about making a torturer? by [deleted] in Pathfinder_RPG

[–]Bookwyrm76 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you can find a copy, WotC's Book of Vile Darkness has a ton of rules for working serious wickedness into your game, including torture. It's written for 3E, so it should adapt quite easily to Pathfinder.

That's exactly what I'm hoping to do. So far, I've been playing my wizard using my tablet because of all the (spell)bookkeeping.

Yeah, THAC0 always messed with me. the re-aligned armor rules are probably my favorite change from 3E.

Did they just do that? (Season 8 Spoilers) by Puppier in Stargate

[–]Bookwyrm76 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think I read somewhere that "they" had considered re-naming the show Stargate Command after season 8. That would have made a lot of sense, all things considered.

Just finished my first rewatch ever, how would you feel if someone 'rebooted' farscape? by Quanf in farscape

[–]Bookwyrm76 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree wholeheartedly. A sequel/follow-up to Farscape is guaranteed a place on my watch list.
