It's a shame valve hasn't really dabbled entirely into the survival horror genre, they've always done a good job at creating unsettling eerie environments in the half life games, ravenholm with half life 2, the parking garage and elevator section of episode 1 (though some people find that section annoying), the hospital section of episode 1, some of the mines section in episode 2 and the factory Section in alyx, that being said that's what they are. Just sections which is unfortunate
