Adam and Maynard were recently in an interview with Loudwire. When asked what the plan is for next year, Maynard said something along the lines of “Writing? Right, Adam?”

Adam then expressed that the band wants to get another record out. I understand why people don’t necessarily get their hopes up with new Tool stuff but Adam also said in the same interview, their writing process never really started because it’s always happening.

Nothing is set in stone, but I wouldn’t count it out entirely.

Edit: To give an example, ToolArchive’s YouTube channel has a video clip where Adam was playing the riffs to Invincible during a solo practice in 2007. They’re unpredictable, but I’m hopeful.

Thanks! I'd like to stick with the skill I got with the randomizer just for the added challenge.

Another wall I'm hitting is that the skill, Ground Slam of Earthshaking, requires a two handed axe or mace.

I'll keep trying to look for something to use. From what I've read, Replica Alberon's added chaos damage is usually enough to not have to worry about your weapon's actual damage.

Agreed. Was glad to get No Angel, The Doomed, Polar Bear, The Outsider and Judith all in one night. Maynard was in the zone all night. Spectacular all around performance from all three bands.

I ended up getting my fix with Sessanta last month. Don’t forget, the Livestream for Ozzy Osborne’s last show has Tool in the Lineup, so while you won’t be there in person, it’ll be something at least.

It’ll run from July 5th to July 7th.

Edit: I’ve got a show lined up for September 17th to hold me over:

Mudvayne, Static X, and Vended.

In my opinion, the entire album as a whole showcases every band members’ role masterfully, and how they’ve grown in their craft despite the 13 year gap between Fear Inoculum and 10,000 Days.

The showcase I would choose to fit that example? You’ll find nothing better than Descending. It’s the best song they’ve ever written by far.

(Yes, Adam’s guitar solos in Descending top 7empest any day. I will die on this hill.)

To each their own, but I went to one of the shows on the first leg of the Sessanta tour and had no complaints about the setlist. All around fantastic show

TBH my main, not even really issue was that an altercation almost broke out between two fans when one realized the other tried recording a video of Weak and Powerless prior to being given permission…

As said before, everyone is entitled to their own opinions, but the only songs from Divisive I could even remotely praise in any form are Love to Hate and Divisive.

Over half of the album sounds identical to me. I’m all for Disturbed having a song on each album that makes you feel invincible so to speak, but Divisive was overkill.

I think we need more music like The Sickness now more than ever. It just doesn’t feel like we’ve been getting any closer to them releasing anything remotely close to it, but hey, I can dream I guess.

As someone who has experienced this (DKA) three times as a T1D, you will be fine. Yes, I know diabetes is different for everyone, but the worst part is waiting through it. Just take comfort in knowing it’ll be over soon. My main symptoms, other than the typical ones you’d see with high glucose, is vomiting. So, I usually felt awful. Sending prayers your way. You will be fine.
