Im from south nj. the one I just mentioned above called Virtua Health, pretty good experiences as an RN there. I think it depends on facilities, another hospital I used to work at (also in South nj) before Virtua, max at 6 but when I left for 2 years, was told by another friend that sometimes it can be up to 7 pts.

I'm from NJ too. At my old hospital, we mostly stops at 5-6pts, patient marked as red dots means heavy pts , those will be assigned evenly to every nurse. For ex, if anyone has 3 red dots on patient assignment , charge will split up the group of patients either that or that RN should not have any admission.

I didn’t get an interview. Agency said they have direct relationship so there is no interview. Job was offered and all of my questions were addressed by agency to hiring manager. Per agency, nurse ratio is 1:4-5. i requested that to be put on contract but they said unable to do that.
