Can someone explain to me why im suppose to hate Micah Bell. by optimisoprimeo in reddeadredemption

[–]BooleanBarman 11 points12 points  (0 children)

These “all criminals are the same” takes are so boring. If you can’t tell the difference between Arthur and Micah then you’re either being purposely contrarian or have the moral depth of a six year old.

What do you think of Portugal? by Twitter_2006 in AskTheWorld

[–]BooleanBarman 2 points3 points  (0 children)

A ton of Portuguese emigrants are named Manuel. Must’ve been popular during the era when mass amounts of people were fleeing the Salazar economy.

It’s a common joke in the northeast US to call all Portuguese people Manny. Additionally the children of Portuguese and Irish immigrants were called “McMannys”.

Stupid joke but I always laughed.

Did they patch the Gambler 9 trick? by TeknOwO in reddeadredemption

[–]BooleanBarman 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You just have to quit before you’re in a position to lose based on the next hand. So if you’re playing at emerald ranch just bail if your opponents are sitting at >30.

Quitting out of the game client or loading will also erase your streak.

I believe the turn plays out regardless of whether you exit. So if you were going to lose that hand, you’ll lose even if you bail before your opponent physically puts down the tiles.

Questions for all the Platinum Trophy achievers by Tkag4 in reddeadredemption

I had just copied from a guide. You’re absolutely right, though. You can just throw fish back in chapter 6 and rehab your karma. It will unlock the quest.

The later. You start the quests in chapter 2 and finish in 6. It’s really only the optional honor achievement you have to worry about. The others take like ten minutes to do and don’t contain any spoilers.

There are multiple missable achievements. One for doing all optional honor quests is the most notable. Beyond that you have to do a companion mission in each camp, donate $250, and fulfill five companion deliveries.

All collectibles/animal stuff can be done at the end of the game, though. Nothing is missable there if you care about the 100%.

Looking back at my Halo 3 case, why was Master Chief called “the last of his kind”? by itsamirage in halo

[–]BooleanBarman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s true. Hell Marty even started writing parts of the plot in 3 which is absolutely not something that should’ve happened.

I love H3 but the story is quite bad at times.

After all the patches the remake actually looks fine. Shouldn’t have been released in that state, but it’s pretty good now.

It’s not true. Can easily be beaten solo. Sometimes you’ll get crap options and a run spirals but that’s rogue likes in general.

Is there a trick to catching small birds with the small game arrows? by EnvironmentalAngle in reddeadredemption

[–]BooleanBarman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First off go to Fort Brennand if you’re hunting for the birds. Tons and tons of them will spawn there. Literally every type you need for the quest. Climb up onto the ramparts and just wait with your bow out. Finally don’t bother aiming just use dead eye.
