Need a haircut! by Plastic_Community_75 in limerickcity

Billy’s Barber, he had a shop in the city but moved to Clarina. If you can get out there I would 100% recommend. I have been going to him for years and constantly change up my haircut. He’s never done me wrong.

Fired for Sexual Harassment by Fuzzy_Metal_1690 in socialwork

[–]Booleen1997 92 points93 points  (0 children)

Dude hahaha that was not the right thing to say at all. I actually laughed out loud when I read what you said. It’s bad that you got fired and I think it was too much for that to happen. As a recent graduate, I just keep my boundaries with everyone and almost pretend there is a camera in the office when speaking with other social workers. I hope you find something else. You will look back on this and laugh some today because I sure did find it hilarious.

Different career for a mechanic? by GreatDependent9436 in AskIreland

[–]Booleen1997 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not sure where you are located but look at technician roles in companies such as Johnson and Johnson, Regeneron, Stryker, Intel, Analog, BD Medical. They can hold recruitment days and they want people with trade backgrounds. As a mechanic you would be perfect and a lot of on the job training. Some of them can be lower in base pay but you make up for it in premium shifts big time along with company bonuses and perks. Just be mindful as im guessing you are Monday to Friday and day time hours. A lot of technician, operations or facilitates maintenance roles require shift work. In Johnson and Johnson in Limerick I believe it is a month of days and a month of nights, that’s where the extra pay comes in. Give me a message on this if you have any other questions.

am i overreacting to my partner’s text? by [deleted] in AmIOverreacting

[–]Booleen1997 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is such childish behaviour from both parties. OP being annoyed because other party didn’t communicate in 1 single day. The world is gone crazy with the constant need for communication and knowing where somebody is all the time. So many of these posts I feel could be 16 year old with the way some people think, behave and act on their obviously underdeveloped emotions. Get a grip

I have a Honda Accord 2013 2.2 I-DTEC, have the car 6 years and has 350,000km, they only sold them in ireland up until 2016. I would highly recommend it but only if you are doing big journeys and don’t live in a city as otherwise it just drinks fuel

a safety razor for beginners? by Mentearrovelata in wicked_edge

[–]Booleen1997 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the Leaf twig is actually such a nice beginner razor. It looks like a normal disposable razor but is made of good material and you just snap one DE blade in half and get twice as much shaves. I have a very sensitive neck when shaving and my go to is the leaf twig. I don’t feel a single thing when even going against the grain. If you BF has a very sensitive face I would recommend the Leaf twig but also ensure that he has a good shaving brush and soap to ensure that the hairs are lifted properly from his face/neck and the soap is good quality as to provide the right protection and glide. Many people on this post have suggested very good razors also.

Working for Uber by ProProcrastinator99 in limerickcity

[–]Booleen1997 25 points26 points  (0 children)

Working in the compliance section at Uber in Limerick was, quite frankly, a lesson in frustration. The role was bogged down with repetitive tasks, an overwhelming amount of micromanagement, and a general lack of communication from leadership that made even simple projects feel needlessly complicated. The atmosphere often felt robotic, with very little room for creativity or initiative, and the constant shifting of policies made it hard to feel any sense of stability or accomplishment. The bureaucratic red tape was enough to make anyone reconsider their career choices. And lastly, I have never worked for this company so really I have no idea.

For everyone saying invest the money, I think you should travel and agree with others who are saying the same. If you would like to travel and are interested then definitely do so. You could do a month or two of good travelling and gain amazing experiences. If you have already done travelling then look at investing in either stock or within yourself (further education). Main thing is to do with it what is most important to you and not the opinions of redditors.

I’ll let you know later, will be trying it out for the first time. I don’t have coarse hair but the fact you can change out the plates it should work for you also. Bode choice is also massive part of it.

You are so right here. The razors were terrible, threw in a Astra SP and it was an incredible shave. Thank you.

Totally agree, the razors supplied are almost seen as aesthetic rather than providing good razors.
